The Everlasting, Frozen Horse
~~Canterlot's main road 4:00 A.M.~~
After Frost was surrounded and captured by Canterlot's garrison, half of the patrol took the injured to the medic tent near the barracks and the rest took the general and his two remaining subordinates to the Princesses throne room so that Celestia my pass judgment, usually that was under Luna’s jurisdiction, but she could not be found. The whole way there Frost wouldn't, or can't, talk nor did his subordinates. He saw a few of his troop hidden in the crowd that gathered, they looked ready to jump in and try to save him, but gave them a look that said 'Don't, not worth it.' they seemed hesitant at first, but they obeyed his order.
Beyond that the walk was uneventful. He couldn't even fly there since they bound his wings with restraints, even though all the guards at the palace were pegsai, they didn't believe that verity wins over just one type.
Finally, the convoy reached the palace, and from there Princess Celestia herself. Frost wondered how she found out in the first place, probably somepony from Luna’s guard sold them out. Couldn't blame em, probably thought that they doing the right thing for their Princesses, he'd do the same. 'Speaking of Princesses I wonder when Lun- um Nightmare Moon will show up? Most likely last second, that's okay. Just hope she's safe.' Frost thought.
~~Celestia's throne room 4:10 A.M.~~
“General Frost Tundra, I would like for you to explain to me why you were staging a coup to overthrow my sister and I?” asked Celestia patiently
“I was following orders, Princess.” Frost responded evenly
“Who's orders, I noticed that your armor's Coat of arms has changed, who's is it? But, most importantly where is my sister Frost?” she said a little heatedly at the end, “And who was that Alicorn you were seen with? What did she have to do with this?”
“In order from first to last? I can't tell you, Luna's, I don't know, can't tell you, and everything.” he stated evenly.
“What do you...” Celestia was interrupted by an explosion of evil feeling magic coming from a star spotted mist, front of the window that the moon shone through. “Who are you!” demanded Celestia
“Why, dear Celestia don't you recognize me? You make me sad.” stated the newcomer
“You, you're the Alicorn see with Frost aren't you? Did you also order him to attack Canterlot?”
“Why yes I did, he was ready to follow his princess' orders. Speaking of following orders, General, care to tell me why aren't your men attacking?” asked the yet to be named Alicorn.
“I apologize, but it seems somepony didn't agree with the coup. Then, they surrounded me as I was making my way here. May I know who is Celestia?” stated then asked Frost
Celestia ignored the question in favor of studying the Alicorn in front of her. 'Who is she, she says I should know her, I’ve never seen her before. Okay, let's see, black coat, blue slitted eyes, blue armor, and a crescent moon cutie mark very...similar...to...' “Where is Luna? What did you do to her?” Celestia once again demanded
“Still haven't figured it out yet? General, educate the poor girl.”
“Princess Celestia, may I present to you Princess Nightmare moon, formally know as Princess Luna.” announced General Frost to everypony in the throne room. Several disbelieving gasps were heard, the General kept his unemotional mask up, he hated betraying his country, but he loves Luna, even if she isn't Luna anymore.
“Luna? Luna what has happened to you? Frost, what have you done to my sister?!” Celestia demanded Frost. His shame was so high wouldn't, couldn't make eye contact with her. He felt shame because he knew that he could've prevented this.
“Oh no dear sister, our dear general did not cause this, but the citizens of Equestria and yourself did.” Nightmare Moon hissed when she said 'sister', at Celestia's confused look she decided to explain “You see Luna was noticing that there was becoming a lack of appreciation on her part of defeating Discord, forgetting that she was also a Princess of Equestria, and that you did not stop that from happening. If can't have their love, I will have there fear and respect! So sister, do you understand now?”
Celestia knew now what happened to her sister, and she knew what she needed to do. She could only hope that Luna would forgive her. 'I have to use the Elements of Harmony to stop her, but I don't want to turn her to stone like we did Discord, no, I'll have to banish her.' and with that thought she started to gather magic to summon the Elements of Harmony, “I do not know if there is any of my sister left within you, but if there is than I hope she'll forgive me.” Then in a glorious blast of bright light that consumed Nightmare Moon.
“ WHA-, WHATS HAPPENING? WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?” demanded Nightmare
“I have banished you using the Elements, you will spend eternity in the moon!” Celestia declared with tears streaming down her face, she then turned to Frost who still wore his blank facial expression. On the inside he was grieving and full of shame, he wanted to be punished for inability to stop this at the beginning. “You General Tundra, shall be forever imprisoned in a statue of ice. Do you accept this punishment?”
“Yes, I do. What shall become of my family?”
“Did they have involvement?” he shook his no, “Then nothing, your family will not be punished only you.” she then magically removed his bonds, and used the elements to send the same bright light that she used on Nightmare Moon just a moment ago. But, just before it hit, General Frost Tundra stood on his hind legs and spread his wings out, and in that moment he was turned ice, to be forever displayed infront of the great maze next to Discord as punishment.
AN: Holy crap I finally got through the first Arc! Okay, I know the dialog from Nightmare and Celestia was in fact boring, but was necessary so nothing is left out isn't supposed to be. So, until then stay SQUISHY! /)^3^(\
