Question for tiny stories

Should I just post even really small things, got a little <1000 word silly thing, wondering if I shoud just post it.  Or if I should gather up a few.
It really seems like the gathered collections aren't liked, as everyone grumbles at the stories they don't like =D

Or I'm just realy greedy for comments

I'm fine with short stories! They can be just as much fun as the longer ones.

I have a folder for "microfiction". It can't hurt to post it!

When I write and post stories they are the size that they need to be, no more, no less. If a few hundred words gets everything I want across, then it is few hundred words.

I think my shortest ones are around 300 words.

Post them one by one. People like tiny stories, cause it doesn't take much time to read them.

This. The fandom is an impatient lot!

True.  I had an idea once of splitting off sex scenes from a plot bassed story.  So you could read the unf time, or skip over the ahem, juicy details

hehehe, that would also have the advantage that - if you are a plot-whore - you could skip over the sex scenes and read JUST the story progress.

I have a feeling though that would have made a very short story ;)

Edit:  For long stories, you need time to read. So either, I have time, then I'm usually searching for a topic that I think would interest me. That's one way how I find new authors/artists. Then I read long stuff.
The other case is when I'm already watching an author and they write a new story, then - depending on description and keywords, I might "make" the time to read it, or bookmark it until the next time I do have time.

But on my regular work days, I don't have the time to read or search for long stories - including collections, although I might be inclined to quickly consume a lil' 800 words or 1200 words quicky :)
