Possible change to "The Hanging Academy"

I'm currently on my third rewrite of The Hanging Academy(*). Every time I rewrite it, I find things to change. Most of those have been minor -- stylistic fixes, substituting MM sex for FF, then (sometimes) MF for MM, etc.

But in my latest rewrite I spotted something that kind of fits in with my fantasies -- the eventual disposition of Larry's body.

After Linda is hanged by the super-rich Steffi Bloom in Cardaniel's original Academy Girl, her body eventually ends up in the Hall of Honor, reclining in a lounge chair, available for students to "sign him out for a night" -- presumably for sexual purposes. That's a pretty good image.

Then I thought, what about if he was displayed (still as movie star Zeke Hillcrest) naked, hanging by his neck.(+)? That's one of my fantasies: "you'll hang forever". Not just "to death" but "forever". Well, not literally forever, but at least for a long, long time -- years, maybe centuries.

So there's Larry, hanging in the Hall of Honor, except that sometimes a student will push a button and a motor will lower him to the floor, then they can take him to their room for a night of fun. Then they bring him back, put the noose back around his neck, push the button again, and up he goes, hanging again.

What do people think of that idea?

If you want to see my version of the story, check out: http://www.apdamien.info/nfair/damien/hgacad/

(*) 1. From human + all students female to furry + all students male
     2. to furry, students mixed sex
     3. to human, mixed sex

(+) Earlier in the story, we learn that his body was processed by a company that replaces everything that can rot with durable artificial material that feels like a real body. And for a while Steffi keeps him in a spare room of her house, hanging by his neck, except sometimes she takes him down so she can sleep with him.

Here's the rewritten scene (first draft):

Okay, here's the rewritten scene:

They arrived at a door, which Runner opened. Kathleen followed him in. "This is the Hall of Honor," Runner explained. "All students who've been hanged on-campus are here. Mostly they were hanged at demos or at parties. You know about those?" Runner quirked an eyebrow at Kathleen.
She nodded. "Grant didn't talk about it, but I've read all the Web site info about the Academy."

"Good. Now, along all the stacks here are the demo and party boys. Your..."

Kathleen suddenly stopped short and pointed, her jaw hanging slack in astonishment. "Why have you got a Zeke Hillcrest mannequin? I can't remember him having anything to do with hanging." What appeared to be Zeke looked especially out of place as a full body in a room occupied otherwise only by heads. He was reclining in a lounge chair, one knee upraised. He wore a red Speedo swirl brief and dark glasses, looking for all the world as though he were sunning himself poolside.

Runner started laughing, and eventually sputtered, "I didn't even stop to think, you don't know about Larry. We're all used to him here." He gave Kathleen a more serious look. "Larry was a NooseMeister. He really gives us a lot of inspiration, because he shows us how dedicated to our craft we can all be. He went through major facial reconstruction to look like Zeke Hillcrest, because we had a client who wanted that -- to hang Zeke. And afterwards Larry was processed by Full Body Associates, if you know who they are. His thanerone was extracted and mostly returned to us here at the Academy, of course. They tanned his skin so it wouldn't decay, and the replaced his organ and muscle tissue with something longer lasting, but the rest is Larry. The client kept him for several years. When she found she didn't need him any longer, she returned him to us. She knew this was Larry's home. We all think of the Academy as our home -- me more than most, I guess, but we all do."

Kathleen was still staring at "Zeke." "So... now he just sits on display in this room?"

Runner laughed. "Ummm, well, no." He pushed a button, and the body slowly lowered to the floor. "Any of the students can sign him out for a night. Just so long as they clean him at the end and put him back up there again. Larry was Amy's closest friend, other than Grant, and I know, from Amy, that Larry would really adore the idea of his body being used and loved. And hanging from a noose in between. We do love him. He's one of us. One of the best of us." Runner pushed the button again, and the rope lifted Larry's body until it was dangling a foot off the floor again.
