It's my fourth furry convention. Something I badly educated of the above 3, is that each was better than the other, which made me some very high expectations about this Anthrocon 2016. And instead of thinking how great I spent my time, often had in head "is not so great than BLFC, or MFF". Then came a point where I took off that expectation head and started to enjoy the Anthrocon as I should. Appreciating the fact of being there, being part of the world's largest furry convention, and the best fursuit parade that exists in the face of this earth.
Last year was not involved in the artists alley or the art show, I was just going to enjoy what was a furry convention, which I ushered her great a year ago, enjoying every second that lasted, and couldn't hold back my tears of how beautiful I had spent that first time.
I met many guys this time, including some that I really wanted to know, like the mouse Chopper (who introduced me to Taichi, her boyfriend, which I liked a lot), Kurtt Amarok who was a great fella during the con, I knew better that Yoshi Azul (Noirex), I did an art trade with Ooo, talked a little with Albi, I knew Buddy knows me, and I was really surprised how large amount of guys know me and greet me, I appreciate it very much. And as always being in the company of my good Moof, whom I had all the time as a remora shark.
At this Anthrocon I had a new experience: two days was in the artists' alley, there were two days I was sitting at a table drawing, which I like, is the activity that most enjoy doing in life, and what better than receive money for it; I couldn't believe how much I earn in the Anthrocon, more than double what I had earned in previous conventions. But so many people attending, that becomes like a market, it is difficult to keep talking with someone, and there are times when one saturates of people who want to buy stuff. And I was drawing all the time, without stopping. The payment system of Anthrocon is very strange, it took me a few minutes to understand and had to be asking the artists who I had around how it worked, despite already having read the mailed instructions.
I also put pictures in the art show, which has also been very different from art shows to other conventions, receiving physical mails for instructions and registration. I couldn't see how much were in the end or who were the buyers, the only thing I know is that I sold them all !! Which makes me very happy. I'll know the final prices (and I'm not sure if at least I'll know the nick names of buyers) until mid-August (another very rare payment policy from Anthrocon).
Another memorable event was to have stayed one more day after the convention, to see fireworks on July 4th, it is the first time I am present in the United States on its Independence Day. And what better to share that moment surrounded by furries. Very beautiful and emotional !!
Now I'm very excited about my next furry convention, Midwest Furfest, where now I'll see a lot of friends, which excites me a lot !!!

It's a dream of many furs to go to Anthrocon <3 It was also mine, but with initiative and a lot of effort I could make it, and not just that, I also could go to many other cons and repeat experiences.

I'm glad you had such a good time! Yes, the payments in the alley are different than other conventions but I am glad you were able to get help from artists around you. If you have any suggestions on how to improve the Alley for next year, I would love to hear them.

Sorry I missed you again! Actually, I SAW you, and your art, but the times I saw you we were either in groups, or moving in opposite directions or both.

Awrrr don't worry if I'm with more people or moving to other place, a single hi and a hug would have been enough! Probably I'll be at AC again next year n_n

Next week is Eurofurence. *hype* Are you able to say, if for example BLFC or AC was more enjoyable for you? I plan to fly over to one of them next year, but still a bit unsure which to choose.

BLFC was by far more enjoyable. Less people but a lot of fun, many activities, great hotel, an environment that feels familiar. Anthrocon is huge, so it's hard to meet specific persons, there is a lot of people that you know later they attended but you never saw them.
