While working on the past couple submissions, I tried to follow several tips and guides found online in order to improve in the fields I lack skill the most (which are, well, quite several fields as it turns out).
While I could see the improvements compared to my older stuff, I still feel like I'm missing some really basic concepts which in turn make even my latest pictures seem, well, odd at certain parts. Eg.: Face shapes, shading/highlighting, and using more than just the pen, eraser and brush tool in SAI.
Now I would really like to further improve in order to plug these knowledge-fissures of mine, but it seems like I'm at a personal level where that's not possible without the help of others.
So, critiques wanted! Or at least some pointers in a direction where I should look into more. Guides you feel like they helped you the most, or think they could help me the most, personal experiences, neat stuff you found out in SAI or PhotoShop, or some personal notes about recurring errors in my submissions.
Whether you post it here or under one of the posts in my gallery, I'm thankful either way.
