YCH's? I want your input!

So I'm thinking of putting a few of these up, seeing how they go. Thought it'd be a fun way for peeps to get art, me to get money, and to use ideas I'd like to see! But I've never done them before, so I wanted some input from you guys, since you all would be the ones who'd potentially be buying them!

What format appeals to you guys the most? The auction style, where everyone bids on slots? Or the straight auto buy, where the slots are listed for a set price and that's that?

Backgrounds? Do they have them? Do you want them? Obviously they might be more expensive if they did since this adds a lot of work, but the pictures tend to look better too!

What themes? I personally adore fetishy stuff, tentacles, bondage, milking- the few I've worked up so far have been fetishy works (two different ones with Winnie Werewolf, and a tentacle pic). I'd like to do a mix of stuff. So yeah, what do you guys like? Cub, adult? Fetishes? Locations? Everything just people's own characters, or do you want your characters doing things with other characters, like Pokemon, or MLP?

Or do you just really hate YCH's and want to tell me why I shouldn't do them?

I'd love to hear what you guys think!

I'm currently taking a short break, and then I'll be starting all this up, so give me ya'lls thoughts! :D

I personally prefer to see the straight buy system, since I think it can be a little more fair than auctions, where some artists can have slots going for hundreds of dollars :O Though, I'm a bit strapped at the moment and couldn't contribute right now anyway, but yeahhhh xD.

Also, I like cubs, but YCH's usually don't work out like that since people usually want to use their own characters in the slots...not that I blame them, I'd want that too. It would feel like I contributed to the piece in some way? Idk.

Yeah, I've seen a lot of YCH's go up just crazy in prices, sometimes for stuff that doesn't even have a background to it! At the same time though, I don't want to necessarily discourage people from *ahem* paying me a lot of money if they think it's worth it! That's probably why most of them are done by auction.

I'm not sure what you mean by

though... do you mean people just don't use their cub characters very often? The few I've worked up with cubs are pretty specifically cub, since the body shape's different!

they good ive seen people do them several ways you could auction withc works or like seichi says streght buys work to but best one is like this artist on fa does she has a streght buy but its not limited to just one ive seen her reuse her poses several times that way you dont have aww man i just mised it even seen her use one like 20 times at like 20$ ish a pose thats a easy 400$

Hmm, that's an interesting idea, and I've never noticed anyone doing that before... People actually go for this? I'd think it'd be a turnoff, since people would lose the 'uniqueness' of the piece. Maybe for the more generic poses?

not if you put a limit on the run say like 5 or so and they still be unique since they all would be of the same chars
