These rules are subjected to changes for any reason, at any given moment, and without prior announcements. By commissioning a story from me it is implied that you have read, understood and agreed to the provisions specified in my ToS in its currently existing iteration at the time of your commission, so make sure to read and acknowledge the points presented below prior to commissioning a story.
-My primary currency is EUR, so all of my commission prices are listed as such.
-I take payment in advance for all of my commissions in order to avoid unpleasant situations where my initial work is in vain. For short stories (up to 15.000 words) full payment is necessary before work begins. For longer stories split into chapters, I expect the chapters 1 and 2 to be fully paid before work begins on chapter 1. This assures your commitment with a longer project while also ensuring proper continuity for the story.
-I offer payment plans for all of my commissions. These vary according to your possibilities, but start at a minimum of 100 EUR/month to ensure an adequate progression.
-I offer a rough plot outline prior to making the payment. The detailed outline is provided after payment has been made. My planning sessions take time, and I require proof of your commitment.
-Private commissions (that cannot be posted online due to their themes and/or upon request) will cost anywhere between 30-50% in additional cost based on the story's scope and length.
Story delivery
-Stories are only delivered once fully paid. In the case of longer stories, chapters are delivered after they are fully paid and prepayment has been made on the next chapter to provide guarantee of continuation.
-Upon request, I shall give you an estimated working and delivery time for your project. If certain life events get in the way, I’ll try my best to keep you informed.
-I do not work with deadlines unless you are willing to pay extra 20% of the total project's length in order to gain priority in the queue. They impede my workflow and add unnecessary stress.
General working method
-Before starting the work on your commission, you are obligated to provide me with all the relevant information pertaining to your project (Plot, characters, kinks, preferences etc.) in a clear, detailed, and eloquent way. Failure to express your needs and intentions for a project in a proper, understandable way and going back on your initial ideas may lead to surcharges meant to compensate me for the length of time it takes to work things out.
-Once the outline is completed, I am going to ask for your specific consent in order to start the actual work on your story. Past this point, you are no longer allowed to make substantial changes to the outline without compensating me for the time it takes to go back to the drawing board.
-Do not ask me to emulate the writing style or methodology of other authors, nor to read very extensive material for research purposes. You have chosen me to do your story commission, so please respect and accept my technique.
Revisions
-Every commission tier of mine entitles you to a free revision draft. The longer the project, the more I am willing to revise. For revision requests that require significant writing of new content/rewriting, I will bill you for the amount of extra words written. Additional revision drafts past the first shall come with a surcharge.
-During the revision stage, you are allowed to correct small errors (like grammar, typos, syntax) yourself in the document I provide. Continuity flaws such as plot holes, inconsistencies etc. shall be pointed out so that I can handle them accordingly.
-For more substantial changes, I require solid argumentation in addition to your commitment to pay for the changes in case they stem from your side. I do not provide broad, time-consuming edits based on an ambiguous “I don’t know, I just don’t like it” type of comment.
Art+Story bundles
As an optional deal, I offer art+story bundles. The art will always serve as the cover to a story, and the price quote you get reflects the total price of the bundle. I get my share, the artist gets their share, and you get the whole thing at the end. Since the story heavily references the scenario depicted in the art, I often wait for the art to be finished prior to writing the story to ensure its accuracy.
With these types of deals, please keep in mind the following rules, should you commission such a bundle:
1. Costs that are initially presented are an estimation based on the scope of the project, or your initial budget. Please do not take the amount I initially offer at face value, because the art or the story might cost more than the initial estimation, depending on the scope/changes/requests. In the end, we settle on the deal that best satisfies your interests.
2. If your characters need to be altered or designed from scratch with my help, surcharges are applicable. These apply in situations where you don't have a character of your own, and are more interested in the depicted scenario.
3. If you buy a story+art bundle, you sign up for the WHOLE DEAL. Make sure you understand my disclaimer regarding art with my characters, and the necessity to have a story go with them. I always inform you ahead of time, so ignorance is not an excuse to pretend that the story doesn't exist.
4. Since these bundles are done with my characters, and organized by me in order to maintain the consistency between art and story, I am the manager of the project. You will be updated with info and questions at every turn to ensure the scenario we both love takes proper form. If this bothers you, then do not commission this.
5. In case the scenario in question is complex and requires significant time for me to conceptualize it (creating a proper story scenario/comic scripts/etc.) the cost of the project might be greater than usual. Not all projects are equal, and sometimes it can take 10+ hours to properly sort out a comic, its panels and its dialogues, to give an example.
Refunds
-I generally do not refund, so please be certain that you are committed to the commission! I was never required to refund in 10 years of doing this job, as I will do all it takes to uphold my promise of finishing your story. Pressuring me to refund by acting rude and insulting me in an attempt to create needless drama as a pretext to get a refund will only get you blocked, so don't do that.
Additional rules
-I vow to respect your desires with up to 90% accuracy. However, note that with minor story-related affairs, I am going to take creative liberties in providing the best story I can offer.
-I retain copyright and all other rights to commissions and projects that include my characters, or characters that I have created for the purpose of the commission, including commercial and distribution rights. These rights will not be transferred to you unless negotiated and purchased for an additional fee.
-My work is not to be sold for profit or altered without my consent. While you hold the rights to your characters, the story itself is mine, and therefore, protected.
-Commissions where I have been given ample creative liberty in building the plot and the world can be repurposed into original works if I find the desire to run said story through a set of revisions. Though your version of your commission will always be yours for safekeeping, I am allowed--and empowered by the aforementioned creative liberty that I have been granted--to swap your copyrighted characters for original characters that I own and tweak the story as I best see fit to turn it into an original work of my own design.
-Orphaned commissions(Which are projects that have been discontinued by commissioners for various reasons) where I have been granted ample creative liberty in building the plot/world grant me full rights and control over their assets and count as personal works after a year has elapsed without the original commissioner intending to commission their continuation.
-You can upload your story commission in an online gallery, as long as you credit me for the writing and post a link to my sofurry/Inkbunny/FurAffinity profile, depending on the site on which you post it.
