Redscale's Adventure - 0.26 is live

While there are other additions, the big thing worth breaking down is the new Focus Perk system. This system allows you to improve Redscale by customizing. But, because I made it, it's stupidly complicated. :)

Rules:
You get 1 point to customize your dragon per level. They can't be spent before level 5. The scene to customize is found in Dragonbone Cave.
Each point is spent to gain a rank in a perk. Some perks have limits (most commonly 5), while some are unlimited, except as stated below.
Each perk is associated with a stat, such as Strength, or Fear.
You can't spend more points in a single stat than 1/5 of that stat. So you'll have to spread your points around a bit.
Each point spent in a single stat makes it easier to level up that stat. (Less XP required for each additional level.) So over time your stats will favor the ones you invest points into.
To focus your stats even more, each stat has a perk option that simply gives a permanent +1 to that stat (while still giving the faster growth benefit mentioned above).

More customization options will be coming in the future, but for now... enjoy?

Hey, i have a question?
i've never met any big bosses, and i have no clue why :< i enslaved the bluescale princess but she died sadly
am i just supposed to grind until i can kill the big patroller that tries to get me in Wolfen Forest? Are there any bosses anywhere else? I really wanna find them (=^x^=)

Thanks for asking... let's see.

There's no 'real' bosses yet.
Glitterscale is kind of a mini-boss. She can be a bit harder than most up to that point, but not really super hard.
Bluescale Patrollers are kind of like FF7's Midgar Zolom... intended to be effectively unbeatable (but avoidable if you pay attention) when you first get to them, but possible to grind up to before you're supposed to, and easy enough to beat much later in the game.

Prince Azure is meant to be much more of a 'boss' monster, when you do finally get to him, but I still have to actually get that far. And there is a 'last boss' in the plans, but we're nowhere close.

What's the level range I should be in before trying to take on a bluescale partoller?
I know someone's done it before, but I'm just lvl 25 and gaining an extra 75 levels seems...impractical.
(though you probably planned it to be that way)

I  don't even know. :p
Wisdom is probably the biggest factor. You need accurate tells to avoid getting mauled. And expect a lot of lightning.

I defeated one around level 75. I missed most of the tells, but I had enough health to survive a direct attack, so I took it slowly. I thought I had a pretty high fear rating, and I'd maneuvered a couple of times, but I couldn't get him to surrender. Maybe next time?

I'm lvl 50 and defeated one, it was a b!tch but nevertheless I did it, only to run into another one and die, go life. You have to memorize their attacks and follow-ups. Even then they can be random but its better then just swinging randomly at one and dieing.
