Pokehidden's sudden disappearance explained

So I hopped on over to www.pokehidden.net after @IBp posted his journal WTFing about him vanishing off of his site, here, and Furaffinity.

Well, went into the source code on the website and this is what I got:

if you're looking here guess then you must be really curious about any other kind of info, guess i'll just write here why i'm quitting posting:
for a long time now, drawing has stopped being fun for me due to several reasons. i believe that this will help me enjoy drawing again.
people that follow me for a long time know how much i loathe my own art, hopefully this is a nice opportunity for me to get gud at drawing
and maybe even start liking my own art a bit. not sure if i'll ever get back to drawing stuff for the internet, but if i do it wont be
under the same name and i'll try my best to change my style, going away from that god awful big eyed cartoony shit i do.

I mean, it's his perogative if he wants to stop doing what he's doing because its making him unhappy, but at the same time, it would've been nice if he had enough respect to at least TELL us before going off and doing this. Again, it's his right to do so, but that speaks very little about those that actually followed and cared. Just a bit unfair, to me.

But yeah, there's the info for you guys so you don't have to worry too much.

I tend to agree with Keeper on this one. It does bug me when artists do this kind of thing; but at the same time I realize that I'm not owed any kind of explanation. If I were friends with this person, I'd be kind of miffed though. Would certainly make me question how strong our friendship is. But if i'm just a watcher? I'll just move on because there's plenty of good artists out there worth my attention.
