Hey guys with the Supreme court Ruling in favor of nation wide "gay marriage" I've decided that I should get the ID's and crap associated with me being an honest to goodness minster. No seriously, and well I'm in a hick town and wish to have the option to marry people when/if/when it is needed HOWEVER I want the credentials on me to back it up.
It's an officially recognized "religion" and is part of the "freedom of/from" part of the first granting people the same freedoms enjoyed by religion, without the bullshit Dogma

Oh, I'm not questioning the concept that it's practiced (?) by enough people for it to be considered a legitimate "religion" (for lack of better classification...?) rather than a blasphemy against all religions (mostly by narrow-minded pricks)... I just question the fact there's a Church for folks to go to every Sunday (??) and talk about the lack of God.
I don't mean that in jest, either. I'm legitimately baffled by the concept. What do organized Atheists do?? And furthermore, if a Christian minister blesses people to be wed under God, what would an Atheist minister bless people under?
And just to throw this out there, I'm non-religious, personally... but I'm pretty sure there's some cosmic deity/deities out there messing with us.

The "church" part I believe is just a term, no physical church. And I don't think they have a direct equivalent to "blessed under god"
As for what organized atheists do, well it depends on the sect of philosophy they have, humanists for example try to do what they can for the benifit of humanity as a whole.

There is no physical church yet as they are building it in Pennsylvania however there are about 2% the global population that are Hard Atheist and an astounding 35% that are Soft Atheist, Agnostic and or "non practicing"
However when it comes to faith. I do my best to explain there is No god and you WILL die, I will die, everything dies and you are dying right now because death allows for new life and new ideas, so use this time you have to make a difference. Do something they will build a statue of you for. I also push for people to donate their body to science when they die so they can find out how and slow/stop it. Because that's a real issue right now People are afraid of death and will do anything to prolong themselves. Even if that means quite literally diluting themselves in with mass hypnosis.
You don't go every Sunday though if they did. I'm assuming Charity work, helping the homeless, helping kids with their homework and the like. It's not a "thing out here" because we are so few and broke but once I start to have an income, getting a Food Trailer and the proper permits to help get food out to the homeless in the main city.
I would bless them under Carl Sagan... lol j/k but under the law of the United States, and the State I'm in as granted by law.
As for the nut of it, I'm actually agnostic or "Soft" Atheist and believe in the possibility of there being the possibility of there being some "god" out there. however the likeliness of this being a thing is VERY low.
I also believe everything has a soul. A soul is the quantum energy inside all of us that keeps us physically connected across all distance and on the quantum level ALL matter is connected and affected by our actions. From your TV and computer to the ants, fish and the very land you are standing on.
If you think I'm kidding look at an abandoned house. when you look at it most times it FEELS lonely.

I'm curious would you be able to get religious based tax breaks and stuffs from this thingie? I'm not really familiar with what all benefits churches get.

Yep. Though I would need X amount of people and a few other things. but yeah, they are entitled to the same tax breaks and everything the Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and any other of the 155 recognized religions.
