I'm a little late sadly, due to me gone for the holidays. For New Years I got to spend time with some family and play games, unlike my Christmas, and headed straight off to Newcon in Portland Oregon for the weekend. The con was a fun, and good learning experience and got a chance to meet one people I knew here on IB!

Anyway I thought I start off with a small contest for the year. Winner will get a free sketch from me.
So who here is fan of Collet? If you are I imagine you already check out new comic page that was posted. Something you might know is I was considering added some dialog to last large size panel. So the contest will be create your own dialog to go into that last panel. Bonus points if you add the text to existing image as well. You can make text the logical extension of exist comic dialog or go completely out to left field and have fun with.

If you have Gimp or Photoshop or something similar, try doing a 'trace edges' or 'drop shadow' effect on a copy of the speech bubble, and position that on a layer behind the original.
I used Manga Studio to do my speech bubbles. It has a special tool for doing them.
