Yeah, I had mentioned it on Kagemusha's Patreon page a number of days ago: http://www.patreon.com/creation?hid=1358201

Maybe some North Koreans will leak the film early :-)

Hopefully before then the new KFP short gets released (it has already had a public screening): http://kungfupanda.wikia.com/wiki/Secrets_of_the_Scroll and there's still a few more episodes of LOA that are unaired.

One thing that I have heard about the short is that Kari Wahlgren, voice actress of Tigress in LOA, did do voice work in the short (got the confirmation directly from her Facebook feed). The thing is she did not specify if she voiced Tigress or someone else. More than likely she did voice Tigress though- hopefully. I personally hope so, because I think she's a far better voice actress than Angelina Jolie.

Now for the [unconfirmed] bad news: I found one article posted that mentioned the short is actually meant for the DVD/Blu-Ray release of KFP3. I really hope that isn't true at all.

You think? I gave up on the cartoon due in part to the poor way she portrayed Tigress... How horrible if we have to wait until KFP 3? I can't imagine that... they would use it to build anticipation for the release, surely.

I would definitely have to say so- mainly due to the fact that Jolie isn't much of an actress. Even her performance in the KFP films is pretty monotone- all the emotions had to be done by the animators. I don't see how anyone can't be oblivious to that fact. If you've seen any of the footage of the actors while they are recording their parts, she looks uninterested. Wahlgren at least can do more more than one voice tone- she can yell, scream, and there has been no need to add a tiger growl to the audio track because Wahlgren can do a female human growl herself.

Undeniable proof right there. She is simply better at acting.
