Try "Livestream Procaster". It will not go the long way over a video filter, then Flash encoding it (which is slow).

Also if you can find an emulator that will use "Direct3D" as the render-API as an option, you can use LiveStream Procaster to DIRECTLY capture the output video and circumvent the problem of desktop capturing, which is slow, too.

Yep, try this. Also if your emulator does not support Direct3D or OpenGL, try another!

For Super Nintendo, ZSNES seems to render using it (it might... I don't know right now). For GBA, VisualBoyAdvance supports choosing it!
