Give Me Criticism (for my birthday!)

It's my birthday, and the only gift I want from you is Honest Criticism!

See, there used to be this website called failin.gs where you could offer someone anonymous feedback, and I used it to get honest criticisms about my art and what I could do to improvement.

Then they changed it and that doesn't work anymore. And it's been awhile since I've gotten feedback on what I do and how I do it wrong and how I could do it better.

So here, in this journal, all of your names and icons are ignored, and you can tell me any damned thing about my art that you please.

Please!!!

Tell me what sucks! Tell me what I need to change! Tell me what I need to study harder! Tell me what I need to do to get better!

It'd be the best birthday present ever! <3

Well, everything you do is pretty spot on art wise from this non-artist's PoV. It's not really critique but more hypno'd twinks and cyber would be nice (but then the macro guys and the leather guys would say the exact opposite :) ).
If you're finding it hard to find areas to improve your art at the moment why not try leaving it aside for a while and concentrate on improving something else? Situations maybe or humour or page composition? (Not that I have complaints in any of those areas either, they're just for example)

I would try to do some wildly exaggerated motion pics. Your work as of late seems a bit stiff and TOO posed.(something I need to work on) so maybe try to get some more action in your images. And maybe work on some DIFFERENT poses..like hard foreshortening or different settings.

Also did you know that Art Rage has a version 4 out now? It's been redone completely and has a lot of neat new features. It's also still not that expensive so if you have a version 3 you should be able to get it with a decent discount. I LOVE mine. It takes some getting use to but once you do it's NICE!! ;D

Oh almost forgot Happy Birthday! :D

agree with "JustLurking" some of your characters have remarkable poses doing these a bit unnatural, maybe if you practice some sketches of people in the streets, how they sit, how they stand and use their corporal language, now with the anatomy , i dont see any problem, i think you do a good work with proportions., so, remember, always practice, and sometimes try to draw something you don´t want to, that do a bit more challenge. (sorry for my engrish). a yeah, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! or ¡FELIZ CUMPLEAÑOS!

I personally agree about the stiffness of some of your poses. I would also suggest more unusual P.O.V.s and Please More Fratbear and Professor Lion.

It's hard to criticize when the way you do something makes you unique. I love your style the way it is. To be honest, if I watch someone long enough, I often overlook any improvements they make and it's not until years later when I look back and see how much things have changed since then that I notice anything has changed at all.
