Oh my, as a long time author (6 years now?...) I'm in love with the way story submissions are presented here. So anyone who comes along- expect to see LOTS of stories. The story submissions look awesome, their easy to navigate through, and they're easy to get to. Not only that, I can group them under themes or setting and such. Which is a huge help for readers I expect.
So! To anyone coming from FA, welcome, this is the new official home for my stories! To anyone new, welcome- I look very forward to journeying through my stories with you!
A general note:
As a writer who is always looking to improve her skills, I live on not only praise, but especially critiques. Both allow me to improve the way I write by keeping what's working and changing what isn't. I may not apply advice to the story its attached to, but I'll use it to improve the next one!
That said, comments like "your story sucks" or the better "that was good" don't help me at all. I highly appreciate ANY comments of course, but anything at all you can comment on specific to what you read, helps me immensely, and likely will spur me to write more, more often. And then everyone wins right?
Also:
I'm always open to suggestions. I may not take them, and I think that's a given. But I love suggestions as they can give me that great idea for the next story. If there's anything you want to see more of- a background character you're dying to hear more about- Say so! I may just write the next story about them!
