Question to my watchers.

For those interested in the Filly Folio, would you rather have:

1. Full color and background on as many pictures as possible, which could take months, and would probably end up being a lot more expensive

2. Messy sketch coloring and inking, which can be done a lot more quickly, but wouldn't look that great at high resolutions (over 800x800) and minimal backgrounds, if they are there at all

3. A whole lot of refined sketches, which would probably be the least expensive option so far as time is concerned

4. Some combination of the above

Full colour and backgrounds have never been a big priority for me so long as the core art is good. You know I like your art, and anything that'll get more fillies into the folio I'm all for :3 So I'd say mainly 2, with some 3 thrown in as well. In an ideal world.

sketches allow for a lot more a lot faster so I'll choose that one.

if your going to do this you need to do it right and go all the way and not stop half way so i say 1

choose a personal favorite drawing amongst the others in the folio, and go all out on that one. the rest u can do refined sketches/semi loose sketches :)

so that way, u can go fast for 98% of them, and still satisfy your craving to color all the others to some degree.

(unless u spend 3 months on that one favorite...ok then forget what i said)

oh! or u can do all of them as refined sketches, and if u have any time left when you are all done, u can go back and just splash a few simple color on the ones u like. dont have to do shadows or anything. just something soft and additional. :D

That's actually what I'm thinking. I largely just wanted to see how positively it would be received. There's no way I would be able to fully color them all without getting sick of it. I have somewhere around 40 sketches for the folio now.

Another thing that also concerns me is that I've got a few odder fetishes catered to in the sketches, but only some of them. It's still predominantly either a hoofjob/anal filly thing, with a few blowjobs.

I've been thinking of separating the folio into an additional group for the more extreme tastes. But I don't know if this would be entirely necessary.

having it organized in some manner would be nice, either by age, solo, groups, character, fetish...etc or any combo you want, so people can know what to look for and what to avoid.

maybe a table of contents like:
[Applebloom]
--hoofjob............. pg 2-3
--blowjob..............pg 4-5
--anal...................pg 6-7
--*extreme*..........pg 7-9

[Molestia]
--hoofjob..............pg 10-11
--trolling................pg 12-40

Well, it's not gonna be in physical media. I would have to package like, either an image or a text file for the table of contents.

What I'm largely concerned with is people thinking they're getting "ripped off" because they bought a folio which advertised 40 sketches and only maybe 25 of them are stuff they're actually into. But I don't guess it would be too bad if it's fairly cheap to begin with.

well ya can organize them in folders, sorted by fetish :D

if your target audience for the folio are the watchers of your gallery, i'd save your more extreme fetish (and/or stuff that you wouldn't put on your normal gallery here) as a separate folio.

keep it focused, and it'll keep your work flowing and focused, at least for the folio. If ya wanna introduce new fetishes, try it once in your gallery and see how your watcher react. I wouldn't just suddenly throw 15 pics of that into a folio that was advertised as "normal" p0rn content. =/

I would suggest one short, colored comic with background plus a couple of pinups/sex pairings. Add a few low-res "scraps" or rejected concept art; boom.
A complete foalio that makes uses of all the material you've created with a main course solid comic.
I'd say 5-6 page comic 6 pinups maybe 1-3 pages of sketches.

Maximum return on your time investment with some various ideas you can toss around and where you can fall back on if/when getting tired of one piece or working on the comic.

tl;dr a combination of all
