I dig the Soldat Louis track. My father's family was from Quebec, but he didn't speak much. Very interesting to hear.

Héhé it's a pleasure ... yeah I like this track for it's privateer/pirate flavor... really has the merchant marine ambience with all it's ''particularities''

^_^ Yeah ive got most of the buddha bar collection too, I count them as assorted because most of that is remixed music or done by djs, actually some of the buddha have songs from other groups and people I enjoy, like Parov Stelar, Deep Forest, Cirque du Soleil, Etc.

The "Best of world music" Series also serve as good sampler of groups.

The ones ive suggested is because I enjoy almost all their discography.

On the same line as Solitudes by Dan Gibson, I enjoy for instance The "Fresh Aire" series by the Mannheim Steamroller - http://youtu.be/DQKnaj6ayrg

Of course you most probably know about Yanni - http://youtu.be/jfpBT174R7c
