Extended Haitus....again

Unfortunately my recovery from back surgery has taken a turn for the worse since friday. I haven't been able to use my computer since the surgery and now with all this new shit happening, my recovery is most likely gonna be longer than originally expected. If I need to be cut open again, it'll just be that much longer. So, I wont be able to upload anything for the foreseeable future unless I find a way to be able to use my pc while in a bed or laying on a couch. Im trying to think of a way to do that, especially if im gonna be down and recovering longer. As of now, my pc is downstairs while I'm upstairs so im thinking of getting help to move it in my room or living room. But, if I need another surgery to fix whatever tf is going on now, I'll be needing someone to stay here to help me recover so genning cub porn on the down low is gonna be tricky 😅 I see my dr tomorrow so I'll hopefully get a better idea then. Wish me luck, I want to get back to genning so bad! I've been bored as fuuuuuuck lately 😫

Damn, I'm really sorry to hear you're still in pain after the surgery.  I wish I was able to be there helping out with your comfort.  I'm glad you have someone though, even if they aren't a fellow art enthusiast.  I wish you good luck with the doctor's appointment!

Fortunately its not the nerve pain I had before, that seems to be gone, but the incision is leaking like crazy 10 days after the surgery and I've been getting insane amounts of pain in my hips and tailbone anytime I move, my legs are insanely weak if I try to stand and I have the sensation of constantly needing to use the bathroom so im worried there's a spinal cord issue/leak or possibly cauda equina. Those are the worst and most concerning issues but there's a whole bunch of other issues as well that may be related to something else or go away with rest. But if its cauda equina, im fucked and would need surgery immediately. And the person that would be helping me would be my mom so yeah, that would be awkward af 😅  she was already planning a trip to visit me in a few months but after this we agreed that she would be coming here to help me recover. Im reeeeally hoping it doesnt come to any of that but at this point....idk....these symptoms are not looking good

The surgery could have caused cauda equina?  My co-worker had that condition and they were able to correct it with surgery, however he had lost some feeling in his foot and needed a cane to walk, but he was recovering well.   Hopefully it's not that.  I was wondering if it's more of an infection.  Hopefully it's not like sepsis or some bone infection from the surgery.  Hopefully the doctor will check for a lot of things.  I'll keep my paws crossed that you recover quickly and that it's nothing serious.

Thank you ❤️ Im hoping its nothing serious too, but yeah, the surgery could possibly cause it or possibly some sort of deep infection thay hasn't been noticed yet. I dont have a fever or pus so its not a surface infection at least.

I'm sorry to hear about these complications. I hope that the new visits and check-ups will help resolve the situation as best as possible. Stay strong🫂

my dad broke his back.  spent 18 months in the spinal rehab wing of the hospital.  at one point has 150lbs of traction drilled into his skull keeping everything straight.   they told him he'd never walk again and never be able to have children.
never underestimate the stubbornness of a Scotsmen

Hey how have you been doing?  How's the recovery?

Recovery is going pretty good. I started physical therapy today for the next 6 weeks. I still get nerve pain and numbness every now and then but nowhere near as bad as before. The hardest thing now is dealing with my muscles tightening up and being unable to release them and having to be mindful of how I move. Im expecting to be back to a fairly normal lifestyle around march/april whereas I'll continue PT at home and go to the gym for building back my muscles that I haven't really used in about 4 months. Its a slow recovery but I'm thankfully making progress. Hopefully this time it lasts longer than 3 years
