It's my birthday today, yay! What am I gonna do today? NOTHING!
I need time to recharge, as I did things this weekend, and I just want to sit down and stay home.
Saturday, I went to an LGS up in Portland for a Magic event that was sponsored by a local Magic content creator group. While I don't do well in sealed events, 1-2 this time, I still had fun. Talked with other Magic players, met the sponsors, entered into a raffle, won a prize. A small card binder from the newest set, Avatar, the Last Airbender. I like this set, I think it's fun and got some nice cards.
After the event, I got myself a baphomet plushie, and Skyrim The Adventure Game, cause can't have enough Skyrim. XD
Sunday, my good friend and roommate took me back up to Portland for a birthday excursion. First stop, another LGS, got some more Magic cards, cause I'm a sucker for them. XD Also got an expansion for Skyrim. The next stop was the Lloyd Center, there is a Legion Saber store there, and we wanted to check it out. I found the saber that I would love to have, Count Dooku's saber, but it was too much, nearly $600. But I did get a simple saber, it's nothing fancy, but I can still change the colors and it does have sound effects. We then went to another little mall in Portland for food, there is a Raising Cane's in there, and we both like the place. Got some good chicken, and then back home.
So yeah, I'm tired and a bit sore from walking, and riding around on Trimet both days. Gonna stay home today, go through my Magic cards, sort them and get them with the rest of my collection.
