Poor connection quality

The connection quality between me and inkbunny has been very poor in recent months. I wondered if it was a server issue or something, but I couldn't find any announcement about it (it should be noted that inkbunny's social media has not been updated for quite some time).

So I wanted to ask other website users if you're experiencing the same issue as me.
This problem only occurs when I'm connected to inkbunny; it doesn't occur on other websites.

For me, it really depends on a few things, mostly the time of day, and day of the week. If it's a weekday, and between about 2 and 8 AM, then performance is quite acceptable. It gets worse as the day goes on, and can be almost non-responsive from about 4 to 8 PM. Weekends are a crap-shoot, but the early-AM responsiveness seems to be consistent. This is all while using my connection in the American Midwest.

If I use a VPN connection, the variability is much more extreme. Usually, European endpoints have better throughput, but worse ping. Asia gives me the worst of both worlds; South America is usually a little better. No idea about Australia.

I've asked about such things in the past, and the only valid suggestion was to try another Content Delivery Server, accessible through Account > Settings > Misc subsection. Auto-detect usually works well enough, but if your closest server is getting hammered with traffic, it's a good option to try changing.

EDIT: By "quite acceptable" I mean that relatively, e.g. clicking a Favorite star returns Related Images within two or three seconds, downloads proceed around 2-3 MiB/s, and little waiting for pages to load. During the day though, they choke my download rate to <100 kiB/s, favorites can take upward of 30 seconds (!) to return Related Images, and overall it feels like the Internet from 1998.

Yes, this method works for me, although not as fast as before, but it does improve a lot.

Try this: Account - Settings - Misc - Content Delivery Server. Change the cache to another location. See if that fixes loading time. Mine is set to London and it works super well.

Working from southeast US here, pages load in average 0.75 sec almost always. The only time I ever notice a slight lag can be traced to my home network.
