I got a lot of people following me on IB accounts without an avatar or without any submissions. Just curious, what’s your deal?

Are your guys furries and this is your lurker account?
Keeping your IB account separate from your “main” fursona?
Are you non-furries just on IB for the art?
Something else?

I’m genuinely curious…

They are mostly:
1. Alt accounts so they don't risk connecting their main with "risky" content
2. Furries who don't use IB/FA as social sites and furries who don't care about making or commissioning art - they use it only to browse porn art

It's sad people still feel so scared and anxious to admit they like cub - so many people in the fandom like it, it's just not talked about :p

Frankly, I don't think that the stigmatization is undeserved. There are A LOT of actual creeps who lurk here, and it's veeery difficult to estimate the % of people who are into actual kids. To the vast majority of people, it's disgusting on various levels, and it's not something that can or should be changed - he who seeks to tear down a wall should first be sure he knows the reason it was put there.
I think that the golden center is keeping cub porn legal, and at the same time deciding on your own whether or not to keep your preferences a secret.

I personally started VERY early on my own with a childhood friend and even experimented with some older kids, and I like to fantasize about that / similar scenarios sometimes, among other things. Also, to me, anthros, like animals, reach sexual maturity way earlier than humans, which would imply a lower age of consent, which would in turn make the whole thing way less morally questionable. That's my headcanon. IRL I'm attracted almost exclusively to older men tho, which is a testament to how complex human sexuality can be.

As for my nickname - Thanks! I was shocked to find out it was available when I decided to try my hand as an artist, lol. Later on found out this name is actually an obscure meme "pedo" mascot related to pedobear himself.

I didn't have an avatar or submissions for the longest time. It's not that I was hiding anything, I just didn't really feel the need to establish myself as a person here. I still don't really, I upload my comms now but I don't do too much interacting.

Some people in the fandom can get really psychotically uppity about having an Ink-Bunny account. Its easier to have an alias or non descript account, then to have people start rumors or make takedown campaigns because you have an account here. A lot of furry people still consider IB the quote unquote "Pedo" furry site.

Yeah, I have some acquaintances who have an unfortunate habit digging into people and doing call outs, so I haven't attached my main sona to this account and just appreciate the stories and art. If it weren't for the weird puritan furries I'd be more fine with using my normal username and an avatar.
I made a point to not actively engage with the ones I was aware of when switching socials, but some people just turn out to be that type later, so...

as far as i know, it's people ashamed to be seen on inkbunny. it also happens on fur affinity. some furries are still very closet about adult oriented content, their choice.

and once i was basically banned from a discord group for drawing cub art...so, yeah, furries are getting extremely conservative and hipocritical these days.

Well I don't know what to put as an avatar and I'm not an artist. I am a writer but nobody has ever been interested in my stories so I don't bother posting them anywhere anymore.

Well, I have been making submissions, it just take a long time to make art. I also have an idea for an avatar, I just don't know if it's an avatar I really want though, so I'm trying to brainstorm some ideas.

Cub browsing, but to be honest I originally made this account to be able to submit cub art but my interest has waned over time and I never got around to submitting anything. I’m primarily a babyfur, though, but only know of a handful who have an interest in cub/babyfur art so :v

so i have my avatar for my fursona, and i acknowledge that i don't have a lot in my gallery. its only recently that i have the freedom financially to look at commissioning, im also lacking in artistic talent in the traditional sense as most of my creativity goes towards lego and rarely writing.

i do enjoy the art you post and i apologize if i have offended or creeped you out.

Since this is the only furry site I keep checking regularly, I could say this has become my main. I will remain mostly a lurker, though, as I don’t have the resources or interest to become more active than that.

I enjoy the art that is posted here. I consider myself a furry (sort of), but I've never created a fursona, I'm not an artist, and I'm not wealthy enough to afford commissions (although I'd love to)
