Which policies? This artist's style hasn't changed much, and it feels like your moderators made a mistake. When the moderation team hides something, you need to have them specify the reason. This is not an isolated case. You said you trained these people, well, I specialize in moderation and management myself. You need to be clear when stating why an action has occurred, so that either they can learn from it, or they can't use the excuse that they were 'wrongfully disciplined' (Some still do it anyways, look at actions against harassment being turned into a 'political persecution' narrative, easiest to find on any site.)

The artist was informed as soon as the image was removed, and the commissioner was informed after this journal was made due to an oversight on my end, and for that I am sorry. With that said, the commissioner and the artist are both aware of why the image was removed now. If they wish to disclose why it was removed that is entirely up to them.
