No, I'm not back.... Maybe.

What's up. Kinda major update for myself. First up, addressing the journal ttitle. I will not call myself back, until I'm regularly making and putting up art again. I know better than to assume making a couple pics and feeling really good about that, means I won't fall into another year long hibernation. So yeah, not "back" yet. But working on it.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who messaged me over my absence. I really appreciate the concern, even if I never got back to you. Often I don't have a reply to people or the mental energy to reply to people, so I try to put those replies off aaaand then I forget about them (gonna work on that)

Why I was gone: work was good, but exhausting, so I didn't need to take commissions. While at first this meant yay I could take requests and do personal work, eventually it meant I didn't have a reason to draw and (for irl work reasons) I lost the drive to pursue art as a hobby. AND I got very swept up in other hobbies (Currently playing FFXIV and Monster Hunter a lot[and surprisingly...pickleball....]) Had some health concerns (nothing super scary, but pretty life changing all the same) come up at the start of the year which have been taking up a large part of my brain real estate.

Why I'm trying to come back. I missed drawing smut (often), I missed the attention, and I missed y'all.

Things that are gonna change - I won't be labeling anything as cub anymore. The characters aren't changing the style isn't changing... (anymore than styles evolve naturally) But I'm planning to cross post to FA and Bluesky more so... plausibly deniability, Is this smart? Eh. But its my experiment so I'm gonna run it. You will likely see more of my characters aged up as well. And once I am taking commissions again, I'll likely be regulating myself better to not burn myself out. Probably only taking one color commission a week. or something along those lines. Also probably going to schedule myself drawing days in the week, for consistency

What about the comic? (I know you don't care but I do xp and like two of you do) - I have no idea if I have it in me to finish that monstrosity of a project. If artwork ever become my full time job then there could be a chance. For now we will see if I have it in me to try
