Is anyone else bugged by this?

Asking both fellow artists and my watchers here, does it bother you that my characters are relatively inconsistent in regards to body sizes/shape and length of limbs and so on? I ask because a lot of the reference materials I use come from several different sources, and as such I know I have a tendency to draw my characters a little different each time, and I need to know if any other artist out there feels the same way, and of course, if it bugs my watchers?

Also turning 35 in 4 days. I've got 5 years until I'm officially an old pervert and not just a perv.

Garuntee it bugs you more than the watchers. All little errors drives us mad cuz we notice when we make them. half the reason i stopped drawing, just felt too much.

says; folks wouldn't be here if they weren't already enjoying what you're doing. Don't overthink it too much, but it's great that you're seeing things you want to improve. Keep challenging yourself to improve!

it's not something i've ever paid attention to, no. i've never been one to care about little things like that at all, i just enjoy your art style and themes :)

Not really. If you hadn't mentioned it, I probably would not notice, at least not without comparing the pictures.

And no, you've got at least 15 more years to be an "old" pervert, for now you're just a "middle-aged" one ;)

Honestly never noticed, so it never bothered me at all, even now as you mention it. :3

I've noticed their body sizes are sometimes different, but I sort of chalked that up to them being different ages.

I never noticed any other proportion differences (limbs and such).

It's not really the style so much as the small inconsistencies, like how sometimes the characters have plantigrade legs and other times digitigrade, and of course the fact that I shift between having Samael have normal human hands and sometimes I give him those bigger paw-hands. And of course the torsos keeps changing.

point it out and ya notice it but it never bothered me, my style for instance to a degree is PPG its what i base it on but sometimes i draw characters with 4 fingers, 4 toes, 3 fingers, 3 toes or i go full ppg and draw them no fingers and no toes, fundamentally it comes down to what works with the characters but it seems from the comments no one all that picky on designs "get the colors and general design right and the rest is bone apple tea" that's a comment from my tutor

It bothers me when characters are disproportionate within a single image, but I’m unlikely to notice shifts in proportion from one picture to another.

Inconsistency is fine. I'm like that often with my characters too.
