Rambling About Commissions!

Ready to read my rambling?

So, I was chatting with a friend, and I mentioned that I'd love it if people would have commissioned my OC's. They mentioned that I should put in my info that my OC's are available to commission, they told me that a lot of artists are picky about comms for their OC's. I just sort of assumed the opposite because...well that's my view on my OC's.

Point is: When I finish my current slots (by the way I'm like 45% done with slot #3 right now) would anyone even wanna commission my OC's? I love drawing my OC's- and getting money tossed at me for it? Yesssss.

And so far I...LOVE commissions. Holy wow- I only worked on three so far, but you all have been super amazing! I won't lie I initially got swarmed, I stuck my head in the bees nest and said hello. It was crazy how many people wanted a commission from me- for those that have a slot and are waiting- thanks for your patience. For those that didn't get a slot...I'm sorry maybe next time. q-q.

Currently I have 4 more slots "Filled" My brain is weird, so I organized them weird. I'm working on batch #1 Slot #3 right now and next will be batch #2 Slot #1-3 then it will end with batch #3 Slot #1

Again, I organized it oddly cause...I'm Odd. (heheheh)

Next will just be slot 1-7 instead of being so convoluted.

Remember! I would love to see your responses on the thought of anyone commissioning me for my OC's (Not commissioning right now- I mean for when I open commissions again- I just wanted to clarify that. :3)

I guess I should ask about what kinds of commissions you're talking about. Solo pinups of your OCs? Or do you mean you're considering opening up your OCs to be commissioned along with other people's OCs? I would honestly consider something of myself with Lotter! I'm a total sucker for freckles though! hehehe X3

As a suggestion if I might though, it would also help people decide on which of your OCs if you make an image pool on your page for your own OCs, just so that people know which ones are OCs of yours and which ones aren't as you continue to create more awesome art! :3

I do think it's awesome that you're having a great time doing these commissions though! I always love seeing the next thing you create! *giggles*

Maybe solo still for now- but honestly, I think I might be getting confident enough for multiple characters :3

I just like drawing my OC's and I feel like I can't do so while doing commissions- so if it was a commission of my OC's, win-win. :D

Yeah you bet! It definitely helped me a lot to organize some of my stuff like ref sheets and badges, various icons, etc. So I think it might help you a bit to have everything related to your OCs in one easily clickable place :3

I gotcha! Yeah, I might consider getting one of Lotter, especially if you offer some kind of discount like was suggested! hehehe
But I'll definitely be waiting for if you decide to do multiple characters at any point! hehehe

I love it when people commission me using my characters. I need to give a discount for it so that people do more often. I like to commission others to draw our characters together, too :3

I did it for a little while last year! I think I may reintroduce it next time I'm open. It is less work to draw a character that you really know how to draw, so the little cut is worth it!

It was 25%, but I'll probably do 10% when I do it again.
