I had a special idea and I was wondering, IF people are into it, or if it makes everything very complicated. Therefor I want to explain the idea here and hear about your oppinion about it.
The idea is to create a "waiting pool". What does that mean now? My idea is, to have a pool of furry chars I can use as secondary pictures, for my artworks. Imagine a picture like this, but with one of my characters: https://inkbunny.net/s/3580553
The "male" char is basicly not present. I mean sure he is, but it's just such a small part of the guy, it's barely a slot to sell for, right? Like a pic with a gloryhole where basicly just the dick of a char and maybe a glimse of fur is visible. Or a pic where maybe just the hip area is visible like here: https://inkbunny.net/s/2912734
Now to explain what I would like to do: I would create a submission here on IB where people can comment below with a refsheet of their character. And When I plan to make a picture that is just for fun and not a real comission, I could check the list if there is anyone who fits the spot. I am also thinking to include an optional marker, if the char owner is allowing to be charged 10€ if your char is at least mostly visible. (Like in Zaiks dick pic
) Thou of course I will ask the owner for premission first anyways. WHO I will choose for a pic is completely on my own. It's not guaranteed that you will be picked. I will most likely just pick guys I think fits the pic, or who looks quite good. But in the end, it's just posting once your char and let me know you are only for free. So no loss there.
This would allow me to create some art with a higher variety of sex partners. This would allow you to have a chance to be included in a pic and also marked as such. So even if it's just a dick out of a gloryhole, you will be marked in the discription as the guy. (thou for a gloryhole I would prefere guys with a mostly unique dick) Finaly this would allow you to get included in a good quality picture, for a few bucks. This would allow me to make pictures that are not so massive and at least getting a little bit of reward for a pic.
Does this sound like an idea? Do you think people would be interested in it? Or is it to complicated?
So. if I understand things right: You're proposing to have a list of characters who people volunteer to be included in art, with the understanding that A. these will just be small things like the Ziva pic and B. they're not guaranteed to be chosen. Right? And if they are chosen, they'll pay 10€ for the picture? Or is the money only for larger pieces? Also, would this only be for male characters volunteering to, possibly, be in art with one of your girls? Or would it be open for girls, too? I think I see where you're coming from and it sounds like a lot of fun. I'd certainly be happy to add a character or two to the list if you decide to do it, too. Just wanna make sure I understand it properly is all.

Money only for larger pictures. And only IF they write that they are willing to pay for larger pics. So if you would now include your white rabbit guy, you could just drop him in there, and I might pick him when ever I like.
or you drop him in there and write "I am willing to pay a bit for larger pics" which makes you become more likely to be choosen if I make something bigger. But this is completely optional!
And then I would still first contact you to ask if it's currently actualy possible for the payment. Could be that you are not able to pay right now or so.

Ah, okay, gotcha. I like that. It's a fun idea and paying a little extra for a little more sounds perfectly fair. Plus it'd be a nice way for people to get a little taste of you art, I think. I say it couldn't hurt to try, and who knows? Maybe someone will like one of these smaller pictures enough to turn around and commission you for something bigger, too.

Why not? It sounds like a good idea to me; it'll open up for a decent amount of variation and chances for other people who otherwise might not have the means to commission a full picture. I see a good number of pictures where only part of a character is visible, and if an artist only has a handful of characters of their own, it would become repetitive for even such small parts to show the same character every time. *chuckles* Not that I think I could contribute much to the pool, however; I only have my own feral self as a male, all of my other characters are females, and the one or two male characters that are slightly recurring in the novel I'm currently writing, I don't have any references for (and two of them are married anyway >~_^<). But yeah, I could see how this would be a good idea and a nice opportunity for people. Besides, it can be quite a fun surprise when you see a picture and suddenly recognize the tail or the one leg or the butt of one of the characters as being one of your own >^_^<

True, I do know that, but that still leaves just my own floofy self to hop into the pool, I still don't have any other male characters to offer some variation is what I meant >~_^< I do, however, have feral kitty parts and they're blue, so as far as uniqueness goes, that's taken care of, hee!
