I had this happen as well, and I have no idea why. If it's the same person I'm thinking of, I wish I could get word to 'em letting them know their mistake. All I have in my gallery are traditionally illustrated pieces, and that's all I ever will have there. They're all commissioned, too, with the artist cited, so you can clearly see that they aren't generated.

That artist I've seen similar things happen to others, it seems that if they see anyone with any sort of smell or hint of AI they immediately block them from interacting with them in any capacity which is kinda scummy to do especially if someone is mistagging art or anything else

I'm usually more discerning about that stuff, sorry about that.

honestly congrats on that silly fact :P
people are just going insane to think a genuinely amazing artist is faking there work.. even though you have been around with the same quality of work for longer then ai has even been a thing.

its why, i believe, Inkbunny NEEDS to become more proactive about AI works being posted and the tag being added to peoples work. They cant stay complacent when shit like this is happening.

I agree to some extent, but in this particular case I feel it's more a user problem. I can understand not liking AI and wanting to block or hide the creators of it, but jumping to that block button because of a tag seems a bit premature. Maybe that's just me, though.

I can understand it somewhat.

On average, people who are fine with using generative AI for art are of much lower moral character than people who don't.

So if an artist draws by hand occasionally and uses AI sometimes you'd think it would be fine to just blacklist AI and enjoy their other art as usual, but that's not how it works. They will either exclusively use AI or pretend to draw sometimes while still using generative AI. You don't want to deal with those people at all, so I can understand considering someone "tainted" the moment they unironically post an AI generated image.

it depends tbh. some people like Crybleat won't even tell you why they'd block you after following them for years. it's all hinging on a case-to-case basis.

They go around doing the tags intentionally wrong (and slandering the artists) to "make a point," and the cost is not paid by those doing it. They would never do that to their own accounts! They only "prove their point" using random victims they target depending on whatever psychosis neurosis they woke up with today.

They're *reet* like, "See this is why we need to ban art software!!!"

Surely, they imagine themselves as God/ruler/king who decides what is and what is not "art."

They want total control over everyone and everything. They want to define what "art" is, and it's conveniently whatever they're profiting from themselves. They think they are God, and they are mad you don't worship them in place of God. It's spiritual illness.

People are misjudging by shading style, I'm pretty certain of it.

Do you know if there's any way to block tag suggestions on all your works, so people stop falsely flagging? Else might be worth opening a complaint ticket about there being no such function.

and this is the exact kind of reason i stand against Tag-what-you-see... because it leads to more errors than not, and those errors can sometimes end peoples online careers in some cases. other times its not errors but malicious

It is very possible. I regularly go through the search system for art using the "ai-generated" and block accounts, but I only block ones that are blatantly doing ai stuff. You can blatantly tell that the art is AI, and sometimes it's even in the account name. And they usually only have 1-6 art posted.

I'll be honest all this on blaming you that your stuff is AI is annoying. You have been here before it popped off and because of that people are calling things AI cause of how the art is drawn. I get AI is being posted, but people should have at least known you were here before it.
