So... it's been a while since I've uploaded anything. Both my writing and commissioning interests have taken the backburner, but my interests in the subject matter I've previously written about hasn't waned. There has just been a constant mental roadblock that prevented me from sitting down and completing my projects or concluding commissions I'd like to have drawn - and a long hiatus, I feel like I can finally move past it.
I tried creating content involving my main fursona, and while I did get a bit of a thrill out of it, the mental and emotional tax it put on me outweighed the gratification I derived from my creations. As such, I have wiped all past works I created involving my ferret character and will work on the creation of a different character to use in my stories that doesn't have the same deep interpersonal connection I have with my main fursona.
I cannot promise when my next project will conclude, but I do feel in a better headspace and from that, in a productive headspace.
