I'm not leaving,

by
I feel like a majority of my audience is here, and I can be free to draw the gross shit I want. However, if this website goes down the same path that it did when trump was in office last time, then I'm not going to feel safe here. And given GreenReaper's admission that some of the moderation staff is trying to defend the spreading of anti-trans rhetoric, I have a feeling that this place will become overrun once again by mask off neonazis and extreme religious far-right trumpists.

The overlap between right wing nazi sympathetizers who also like sholicub is insane because like, homie. You realize as furries you are immediately next on the chopping block of degeneracy by the people youre supporting right? I mean already theyre the ones doing the censorship these bitches online hate so much so its like make it make sense.

Why respect for people is so hard for others to grasp and stand up for I'll never fucking understand. It doesnt even affect them, why waste so much energy being hateful other than not wanting to change anything whatsoever and throwing a temper tantrum like supposed "snowflakes" do.

Also, the same people who are like, "dont judge all cops theyre not all bad!! Waaaah " are the same people who are like "one time 7 years ago a gay person yelled at me so now im homophobic against all of them" hypocrites hypocrites hyp o crites

It is shockingly rare to find a vocal leftist who’s into cub, in my limited experience. I’m not sure why. And none of the anti-cub leftists I’ve spoken to can give a cogent explanation for why it’s worse than violent video games. They can’t pull the “degeneracy” card, after all.

For straight and bisexual lolicons, I get it. There's a precedent of people constantly screaming about children's safety, while quietly diddling in the background. And given the history of patriarchy, and how girls have been viewed as property of their parents, particularly their fathers, the "return to traditional family values" shtick makes a whole lot of sense. Their pedophile president is . What I don't fucking understand are the fair skinned gay shotacons. Their whiteness will only take them so far, yet they seem to think that their idealistic traditional catholic white ethnostate won't victimize them.

When they're incentivized by the power structures in place to fight those on lower rungs of the social heirarchy, it makes it easy to fall into that line of thinking and disregard others as being weak. Despite this ideology preying on one's own weaknesses, it provides scapegoats to project all of one's insecurities onto. To build ideological prisons for themselves where their mind cannot be changed. Where empathizing with others and changing your values is seen as a concession in a perceived ideological battleground where nobody is right unless they fit into your own little box formed by the echo chamber you build around yourself.

Possibly they think they can become """celibate""" priests? I guess there is just a big difference between those into loli because they don't want to hurt kids, vs those into loli because they do...

But also because the left has become worryingly anti. Somehow, we let puritan narremes into our culture and now we're paying for it.

It is worth noting that their personal beliefs on whatever have never become policy in this site and that they banned Roareyraccoon, who is anti-trans. Surely, Greenreaper may have beliefs that I don't personally agree with, but I don't think he would turn the site anti-trans because of it. Let us not forget that he is not the only person in staff here.

O RLY? How sure are you it didn't already happen? If you look close enough, the evidence is there!

...or maybe that was me trying to avoid the blocking system falling over entirely by basing keywords on something that is material, not invisible to the eye.

It's hard to imagine what an actual anti-trans policy would look like, let alone policing it. I guess we'd have a few more pastel colours to ban from featuring in submissions? It's hard enough doing that for MAPs now. Oh, plus no more femboys (just more masculine men, as I gather is the style in China).

The keyword policy actually does not seem anti-trans, since there is a distinction between biology and gender and there's still the possibility of using gender tags along the biological sex ones.

This comes off wildly unprofessional.

That makes sense; I don't get paid for this. Mostly, I pay for it.

The initial concept of an anti-trans furry art site is bizarre - I was just pointing that out. (Also, we really did ban a MAP for pastel colours last week.)

I doubt you lack the imagination to conceive of how a community or site, particularly its culture, could be anti-trans without anti-trans policies, so I won’t patronize you with hypotheticals.

But, fine, I concede that it is unfair to expect professionalism from a volunteer– or even philanthropist, frankly– simply because one’s project is of sufficiently large size. My apologies.

no, actually fuck right off. This journal has like...30 views as im writing this. So that means you are actively looking for your name just to stir shit up. Maybe instead of acting like a pretentious cunt, just say "I fucked up, sorry" instead of digging yourself into a deeper and deeper hole. "But NOOOO, my opinion is being silenced by the woke sjw liberals, my CENTRIST views are being oppressed. SOMEBODY has to protect freedom of speech guys!" You won't ban people for saying that pronouns are evil and trans people are predators because...Everyone is entitled to an opinion, right? My opinion is that you are worse than the scum you idolize. Fuck you, dude. Since that's just my opinion and just me not feeding into your delusions, you won't ban me, right?

You can have whatever fucking opinion you want. Nobody cares about your opinion. The issue comes when you make your opinion known, and that opinion is awful and hurt some people, and instead of thinking "maybe not everyone needs to know all of my opinions" you whine about "everyone can say what they want" even though there's provable evidence of that not being the case for you. If it were, nobody would get any submission removed ever, regardless of content. Either you can say and post anything you want, or you can't. You can't post art depicting humans in sexual situations, but you sure as hell can spread hateful rhetoric.

No, I won't ban you. It's just your opinion and you're entitled to it, and to express it here as long as difl allows it, especially considering it concerns a person in power. Speaking more generally, staff might remove or limit your comments if you were uncivil to other members, as that tends to inflame discussions.

It's relatively rare that we ban any long-term member; we may use restrictions on various kinds of posts or remove specific submissions, journals or comments. Lack of visible staff action doesn't mean we approve of any opinion expressed. Frequently people on all sides push to the limit of what we allow.

Certain images of humans are prohibited in the UK, where I (and thus the site) is based, and also by our main French host. Because of this, and other European and Commonwealth laws about depictions of bestiality and real-life people, we do not feel human porn is something we can safely host, especially with a limited volunteer staff. In the USA - or at least parts of it - things are slightly different.

[Text tends to be safer, legally; for example, it is essentially excluded from "pornography" in the recent Online Safety Act. Where it is forbidden, it tends to be along the lines of selling knives or calls to direct violence against individuals. But there have been cases of prosecution for positive depictions of bodily harm, and it is still open to the same issues relating to real-life people.]
