This just feels like giving up, the more artists that leave means that eventually this site will be more AI then art and then this site will no longer be for actual artists.

They really do need to ad some kind of option in the search filter to block out ai "art", like maybe add it in as a submission type or something, they really do need to do something to fix this problem of theirs. 😕

They have that, it's called "block the appropriate tags". And before you say" but what if the piece isn't tagged" it is, that rule ad all the other rules surrounding AI submissions are being heavily enforced

They used to allow it though, that's how I got mine. But then that huge migration from Twitter and FA happened and their servers got extremely overloaded. They still are in fact.

Yeah now they tell you to use Pawoo or Aethy, Which I stopped using Pawoo after seeing illegal shit posted every other hour. Aethy Idk but most likely similiar issue as any mastodon instance with porn seems to have that issue from what I've experienced

Well to be fair you can create an account on either one of those and never see content from them since due to federation you can use Aethy or Pawoo to follow accounts on Baraag and thus you'll only see content from Baraag though I understand not wanting to support a platform that allows illegal content.

Its not allowed as its banned but its just posted in such volumes that moderation can't keep up, Mostly a bigger issue on mastadon servers with a english audience but overseas (such as JP in pawoos instance) moderation so it sneaks by easier. Just not something I'd like to see

Sounds like a fair enough route. Personally, I do at least wish you would leave the art around as is for archival purposes. But it is your account and your commissions to do with as you wish. Will enjoy seeing what you have to share in your other gallery sources.
