Hey all. Been a long time... 6 years almost, since I had anything public on here. Been really bumpy during that time, as I'm sure it has been for everyone else. But I hope you've been doing well despite the craziness of this world!
So... I'll try to keep this journal kinda from turning into a book, but I'm thinkin of coming back. Been wrestling with the idea for the last year or so, but I think I've decided I wanna give it another go in the community. I miss the humor and stupid conversations, the support, raunchiness and the extreme creativity. My furry friends were the best I ever had. Life has been dull away from that.
Been really anxious to make myself known again tho, or put any art out there. Kinda feels like stepping into an old workplace you quit years ago, seeing how it's all changed while you were gone. But I figure I gotta start somewhere; so you'll notice my old gallery is public again. Gradually, I'll add some of the stuff I never posted, and start updating again when I finish new drawings. Eventually once I'm more comfortable, I'll be making a bluesky account to shitpost and talk to furs more regularly.
So a bit about me, since things have changed a bit since the last time I was here.
I'm Nikita, or "Buck" if you prefer. I'm a 28 year old gay deer from BC, Canada. I'm quite shy and deal with chronic anxiety, so if I don't respond right away, I'm probably just overwhelmed at the time. I like to draw and I'm still trying to refine the skill, but mostly it's for fun; to get ideas, characters or emotions out of my head. Be warned, I still draw a lot of fætish content, and it's unlikely to be to everyone's taste. Other than that, I keep marine aquariums as well as reptiles, both at home and for work. I breed clownfish and propagate corals as a side gig. I like metal and prog rock, currently into Ghost b.c. and always been a fan of Coheed and Cambria. Oh! And I am still single and kinda lookin for a mate~ Been waitin years for something meaningful.
I hope that if we used to talk before that we could maybe reconnect; hit me up and I'd be glad to catch up with you! I'm also looking forward to talking with some new chill folks and forging new friendships, so if you think we got an interest or kink in common, hmu and we can get to know each other!
