Hey everyone. Domzy here, it's been a while huh?
I don't know where to begin but the TLDR is I'm getting worse. Whatever it is that is wrong with my hands shows no signs of letting up. The pain is unbearable some days and makes doing anything an insane chore. Thank the divine for speech to text, although it's still getting used to my accent LMAO. I got diagnosed with hemiballismus which is wonderfully unrelated to my hands being messed up, so it's just a whole new thing that I have to deal with on top of everything else. Cause why not right?
I've been going to like a million different doctors just trying to see if anyone could figure out what's wrong. Seeing the top neurologist in the country/region currently, and he has a treatment plan for me, but so far nothing has worked. He told me if this doesn't work, I need to go to the Vatican and pray for God to deliver me from this sickness. He's not a religious man. It was polite doctor talk for "You're probably fucked".
These doctors aren't cheap, and I have already exhausted all of my savings and I'm not sure what other options I have but to set up a GoFundMe in the hopes that I can get enough to potentially travel to the US or elsewhere for treatment. I can't describe how much I hate coming on here to beg but I really don't know what else I can do at the moment. I like being the one people rely on, so it's taking its toll on me trying to be okay with having to rely on help from people.
I'm trying my best not to lose hope, but I can't describe how much of a toll this thing has been taking on me. My life has pretty much been on pause since April 2023, not to mention the art I owe since then. I honestly don't know if or when I'll get better, but I need it to come ASAP.
But anyway. Hopefully this GoFundMe would help put my mind at ease so at least I'm not wondering how I'm surviving every month (or get me to the Vatican :upside_down_smiley_face:). Hopefully I will be back soon friends, thanks for always coming to my rescue, and to everyone still waiting very patiently for their commissions, thank you very much for your continued support and understanding.
