It's about rape

Over turning women's rights.

Attacking trans people.

It's about sex. Predatory sex.

Think about it. A bunch of "straight" cis-men have been bending the nation to include-

Women having no bodily autonomy.

Trans girls and trans women being forced to share blind, intimate spaces with cis-men (bathrooms, changing rooms, locker rooms).

LITTLE GIRLS, CHILDREN, being subject to NUDE INSPECTION to root out trans students from sports in schools.

And what keeps happening? Republican X found to frequent transgender porn sites. Republican X was outed as a rapist today. Republican X was arrested for soliciting a minor today. Republican X was investigated on allegations of child pornography today. Etc.

It's about rape. They are enabling rape.

Sexual slavery. Cis women, trans women, doesn't matter. If you are pretty enough they want you to be an object to be played with and discarded. If you are not pretty enough they want the right to just make you disappear. They want age to not be a factor.

Predators, all of them.

While your completely right, alot of people would just rather let the “status quo” happen till it happens to them. The people that point out the problems are made the targets. Sometimes you have let people feel the effects of that train though to wake them up.

Not only are they predators and predator-apologists, but they're projecting every time they fearmonger about trans issues. It's ostensibly all about safety and fairness for women, but they never cared about that. They want harm and punishment. They want the people who could speak up about abuse or defend against it removed from the situation.

Their true fear isn't some scary stalker man dressing up and entering the ladies' bathroom to creep on women. They wouldn't give two shits if that happened. Their fear is, being the man who creeps on women in the bathroom, "accidentally" creeping on someone with a penis. They feel comfortable with the idea of taking down an army of "females" because of their assigned gender and backward ideology telling them they're naturally so much stronger and better, but not so secure in their odds with another "male" confronting them.

The more our "ideology" allows people to do what they like in life, the scarier things get for them. The roles become less straightforward, the rules of engagement that they love to twist and break to get their rocks off become less strict and predictable. For anyone living an honest life it's just better. For anyone deluded into some early 1900's idea of gender roles with deeply toxic notions of how they should be allowed to abuse their social and physical power over the "weaker" sex, it's earth-shattering.

Also Republicans: That child better show me or a stranger their genitals so they can go use the bathroom.

Politicians are barking up the wrong tree on who's the real predators...this crap is genuinely fucked up and heartbreaking. I started using the gross single-room bathroom at work for my own safety.

Makes me think of the "family man" that was trying to get Trump-Derangement Syndrome to be officialized as a real thing, only to be outed to be a child predator only a few days later. It's actually disgusting how people treat women/don't want them to have rights. There's a server I'm part of that, every day I hear them talk I think they're all closeted MAGA cause they're always, every day, blaming every wrong thing in this world on women or trans, and I'm the only person in the server fighting against them and it boggles my mind how people can actually be so intimate hateful toward women, trans, and minorities.
And the fact this is EXACTLY how our political leaders are acting, the people who are supposed to protect ALL the people's of their nation, is abhorrent and so absolutely disgusting.
And yes they usually end up being found as the pedos or the sexual predators, because the guilty are always quick to accuse others of their own wrongdoings

Late to the party on this, but too fuckin' right! I don't have much to add, 'cause you've hit the nail on the head. It always seems to be the case that everyone who bleats loudest about protecting children from gay folk, or trans folk, or whatever, are themselves the biggest threats around.
