Trouble uploading

I've been getting the message "ERROR: Could not create a thumbnail for the file 'faf619757b73f7055c192d16171060d9.png'. Thumbnail file was called 'blank' If the file is a PNG, make sure it is in RGB color mode and not Indexed color. Please try again. If the problem persists, contact an administrator." Whenever I try uploading an image here. I haven't changed any settings (from what I can tell) and been doing the same thing I've been doing since day 1.

Anyone have any solutions?

Sorry about that! The server ran out of open file handles. We're investigating to see why this might've been, and will probably be installing an updated Linux kernel as it's been a while since the last one.

For now we've rebooted and the issue appears to be resolved temporarily based on recent uploads.

It should be fine now, I've narrowed down the problem (bot made too many sessions) and it's being resolved (by removing them), will take a while but the system should be usable during that process.

I didn't encounter with particular issue but I had similar one on Twitter. Sometimes it didn't allowed me to upload there pictures and giving me ERROR. So the only solution I found to remove it was to Resize resolution to bigger or smaller in specific pictures you uploading so after that it stopped show error.
Not sure if it help in current case on IB but you may trying still.Otherwise I agree with comment above and think it's just temporary issues while server has troubles with loading, so better just try a bit later. 🐐
