Bad experience with Bluesky

by
Ok first of all yes, I finally have a working bsky too - https://bsky.app/profile/helsyjun.bsky.social.

Why bad experince - was suspended by made first and simple post on that platform
reason of suspend:

"A Bluesky account you control (@helsyjun.bsky.social) has engaged in activity that falls under spam behaviors under our community guidelines, including but not limited to the following:

• Bulk Following/Unfollowing: Excessive following or unfollowing large numbers of accounts

• Interaction churn: Repeated following/unfollowing actions to gain engagement

• Mention, Quote, or Reply Spam: Frequently mentioning, quoting, or replying to many users

• Spam Posting: Sending multiple identical or irrelevant posts

As a result, we have taken down your account."

How I fixed that - sent support ticket and got fast answer - "To gain acces of your account sent us a scan of any of yours ID's". Honestly provide personal data , via email , that you didn't asked when created account sounds like a shady business. (Not recomending doing that unless service required it in first place)

Ask for another options - they said - "attach your bsky profile to X in links". After that being done - gain acces to my bsky account back.

So far if you ever meet same problem, here the steps that might help:
1. Sent support ticket
2. Do not sent personal data via Email
3. Make sure your Twitter\X account have info about your bsky profille.

BlueSky also hates Cub Artwork for some lame reason.

Maybe the same reason as Itakuu, sadly most of the world still doesn't understand the difference between fantasy and reality.

Yeah, same stupid crap that caused Bunny Bits to get arrested by the French Government because for whatever reason they think a FICTIONAL CARTOON RABBIT counts as csem... imagine going to jail because of fictional furry artwork.

Intersting to know. I also plan to post my stuff on BS sometimes soon.
Thanks for sharing your experience <3

Looks like they thought you were an impersonator, and blocked you for that reason. Which means whoever the moderator who did block you on bluesky is he KNOWS you...

I do not think it was manual blocking , cus it's happen the same second i made the post + the reason of suspend not helping that theory.
I'm not that popular for being impersonated XD

Yeah that sounds like an automated thing that detected you following a whole bunch of people and freaked out. AI is really not that great at understanding nuance

Have joined Bsky some time ago but kinda ceased to use it. The algorithm is bad. It does not react to likes as much as Twitter/X did/does (and there's no "show more/less like this" buttons). As a result I keep getting floods of negativity there since that's what Bsky is used for a lot :/

Bsky was fine back when it was still an "Invite Only" platform (when it was still in the Testing Phases) -- but as soon as they opened it up to the General Populous of The Internet, that's when things started to go down-hill.

More and more "Antis" started joining the website and trying to force the vibe to match their own beliefs. The site owners and moderation staff then started to turn their backs on the "pro-ship" people who had originally joined the site before all the Normies started joining it.

Suddenly all the NSFW Cub / Feral / Shota & L0li art that had been perfectly fine was now "against the ToS" or something. When before the "Grand Opening (To The Public)" it was fine and not a problem.

Accounts that were sharing this kind of cartoon artwork started getting suspended -- and they would get emails back from "Bsky Moderation" that sounded like they were written by an A.I. that had been force-fed a ton of the Tumblr Juice.

"Cub Artwork is PROBLEMATIC!"
"Feral Artwork is PROBLEMATIC!"

LOL, LOL, LOL -- no human person of any substantial intelligence thinks and acts this way.
It is common knowledge that CARTOON DRAWINGS ARE PURE FICTION, TOTALLY FAKE.

But Bsky has made its real position clear -- they side with the "Antis"
The Fiction Equals Reality Freaks. The Fiction Police.

In the early 2000s -- nobody thought this way. Yahoo Groups didn't give a shit if you had a gallery chock full of Tails x Sonic Porn -- the average Furry Fan also didn't care either. Everybody understood that this stuff is just FAKE CARTOON DRAWINGS... not depictions of anybody in Real Life.

*** sigh ***

Yee I've joined the furry community in the late 2000ies and indeed it was different.
Heck, my discord server back then had a public channel for cub and loli/shota xD
Later people urged me to make it hidden, and later a panicked co-owner deleted it just out of fear (while being into that topic) >_<

What happened? Is it really that the older people who always were against such stuff caught up with this "fandangled new media", or have people actually changed their way of thinking somehow?
From my experiences, among the friends who were directly enjoying said topics, do still enjoy them with very few exception (I know only one in fact, who made a ridiculous turn), but of people who used to just tolerate, a majority does not tolerate anymore :/

Aaanyways, my complaint about bsky is entirely unrelated to that.
I have accepted that no huge site like that will allow cub art and it's not what I wanna use that site for.
By negativity I rather meant complaining about politics every minute of the day, turning every discussion political and stuff like that.

People still do to this day, it's just that Twitter and the politically aligned have gotten much louder so people can pay attention to them.  They see everyone explaining this "It's fictional characters" crap as a target for their own arguement sports, and are so desperate to get politically layed that they'll even target anyone who remotely says anything similar.  It's "sad" for us, but extremely pathetic for them.

While that may be true, it got really bad after the election and certain people started spreading rumors that "You're going to be locked for such and such."

"""You had me until that final line"""

You mean THIS one?

"Everybody understood that this stuff is just FAKE CARTOON DRAWINGS... not depictions of anybody in Real Life."

Yeah sorry, Tails and Sonic and Klonoa are not real.

And that's a Hill I Am Willing To Die On.

No no no, I was nodding to that as well.  Its just that the overly dramatic sigh at the very tip end tipped me off.

I don't know. For sexy, kinky and cub art, baraag will always be the perfect choice. There aren't as many limitations as there are in other platforms such as Twitter and Bluesky.

The only inconvinience, at least in my opinion, is that the site can crash sometimes, for hours or even for days!

I've tried using Bluesky a while ago, and all I have seen are these same three political dudes spamming their crap no matter how many times I smash the "less like this" button on them.

Odd, I haven't had issues on bsky yet. Tho I do hear that the moderation is hit or miss like wtf.

So they accused you of spamming, and then ask you for real-life IDs and want you to advertise their services on a competing platform.  Because that totally has to do with reducing spam.

Yeah, this is why I don't use social media at all.  All these companies are evil and their security policies are full of crap.

Social Media gawd damn fucking SUCKS.

All of it. Whether it is Reddit, Twitter, Bsky -- it doesn't matter. It all eventually becomes trash.

I miss LiveJournal from back in the day, but even that eventually got ruined by "in-fights" and "discourse."

I miss Myspace from back in the day -- but Facebook ended up taking over and they just kinda ended up falling to the way-side. I used to LOVE going on Myspace and finding a bunch of different underground bands (I guess you can still use BandCamp for that, but even THEY'VE been Bought Out by some bigger greedier company).

The desire for "hegemony" and "conformity" and "making a profit from your data" eventually kills every decent website.

Yah know what I miss? Individualized Forums with a very specific topic and a very specific audience.

You wanna learn about Emulators and Rom Hacks? Yah go to a FORUM.

You wanna learn about Japanese Rock Bands? FORUM.

You wanna chat with other Furries about your weird interests? FORUM.

But nope, that all died and went away. Social Media replaced it.

And it pushes too many enemy camps into a cramped space --

Like sticking a bunch of angry piranhas into a TINY FISH BOWL.

Every different faction of fish just wants to rip each others fins off instead of trying to get along.

"""" and then ask you for real-life IDs""""

Facebook tried to enforce that back in the early 2010s and people reaaaaaaally did not like it.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Facebook_real-name_policy...

Maybe it's "the only way to verify who is and is not an adult" but personally I'd rather NOT hand over my ID to a big evil company such as Facebook (or even a small evil company like e621 or Bsky)..... Cuz you never know what they will DO with that kind of information......
Delquea

They do and still enforce it actually. I lost my account because of it (I wanna keep my identity completely anonymous) until I provide a personal picture ID I'm not allowed on the site at all. So I lost access to quite a few friends. Can't even recover my password.

I really, really, really did not want to make a Facebook -- my ex-BF talked me into it when we were together, also when we started to attend Community College together it was a "necessity" for some of the classes. I ~hated~ not having that barrier of Anonymity that other better social media platforms like Livejournal provide.

I did have a backup account with a silly fake name and Facebook flagged it when they put the Real Name Policy into full swing, and they were all like "Give Us Your I.D. Or Else" and I was like -- No. Never. Forget It.

Yeah, Bluesky is not all it's cracked up to be. It's just an angry echo chamber.

It is literally the gay retarded version of twitter! They did everything that Twitter did and they just blocked out people that had been proven to be correct on things that they didn't want to be corrected on so now it's just a way worse version of Twitter with a lot of Reddit bullshit on it

Bluesky is if Twitter and Reddit had a baby, and Twitter divorced for someone who silently orchestrated the divorce for the better.
ChaoticBlade

They went out of their way to directly copy and paste everything from Facebook and Twitter just to become the gay retarded version of both. I'm not on there much because my account was considered to be a bot until everyone realized that I use words that haven't been popular since the '90s

I haven't had any issues with Bluesky. I really enjoy it. It's pretty free of the usual Xitter Muskrat idiot fanboys and Maga cultists.

And looking forward to adding more of the useless dunces them to my blocklist.
