Im bored!!! Some ideas!?

Well I’m frankly bored as fuck, I was browsing for something to buy maybe a video game or something vintage, I already got some games in my collection but haven’t been in the mood to play or anything really recently (or I’ve already played most of them)

Is like I just wake up and the world is just noise, there’s few things that catch my attention these days, well instead of cubs

Well I’m really getting out of options so I must ask

Is there something that you like to do or collect ?  Is there something that has value to you ?

Is there anything that I can do in this world that has value? Is there something that has inherent importance in our modern lives? Like , we have access to so much stuff but it kinda makes things less valuable, I just watch my social media feed full of trash or people trying to sell you unnecessary trinkets or people thinking they’re better cuz they have this slightly better shiny trinket than others

But in the end everything lacks value, there’s few people that put their lives and joy in what they do, that’s why I like custom made things and artisans

Something that can spark joy again into my life

I remember I used to collect these small figurines some soda company made and they were really fun

Any suggestions?

Try finding a cool game to play with friends in a discord call frequently and laugh, something like Gmod or GTA V Online

Helped my mood a lot

Well, I like fixing cars there's just something about knowing everything about an everyday machine and knowing how to make it better or to fix it. Now I know it might be a little challenging at the start or you don't own a car so I suggest the game "My Summer Car" It's a hardcore game where you build your car bit by bit, it's hard but very rewarding at the end I think you should give it a try :D

Any form of collecting can get expensive, but then just about any hobby can be that too. For one social media. ya screw that noise, but if things are becoming white noise sounds like you just need a change of pace. Abit of variety or spice of life.
Me personally go for completion in games, and well I need to get back to building them, but gunpla is something i like. plastic model kits. also value is subjective. everyone values things differently. heck another thing I been collecting arcade cabinets. they rather pricy, but can't beat a real arcade feel over a controller in your hand.
you could also just go outside the box. do something different for a change. things became mundane then just think of your norm and do the opposite. like rpgs, play a rts. like slow strategy, jump into an online shooter. sometimes thats all it takes. always willing spitball ideas if need it.

there are alot of tank and military model kits. heck theres tabletop games where you build your tanks and then fight others with em. not sure of the weapons. gunpla has weapon expansion kits but they are fairly simple. so military like missiles and stuff maybe?

I've picked up gardening as a small hobby. It's peaceful and it helps me maintain my calm and focuses my attention into helping my little green friends thrive and survive!

I get a lot out of making art, but other than that I've played in my same World of Warcraft guild for almost 8 years now. The socializing with long time friends combined with a shared cultural pillar in WoW goes a long way.

Also if you're in a rut what I've done in the past is just get out and do something really out of the norm for myself. Could always become a new hobby, give new perspective on things, or just break the tedium.

I've personally found that ownership of stuff doesn't mean that much to me, but traveling does. I've been in a funk myself recently and I've decided to travel for an extended period, just to get away from everything and everyone. I've been lucky enough to visit several countries and it's true what they say, memories do last a lifetime.

Might be too close from what you do as an artist, but I've been into callygraphy, and it's really cool to learn to use ancient tools to do that traditionally. I tried nib holders with several types of nibs, fountain pens, parrallel pens, glass pens, and with some ink of the colour that I like, it was pretty neat to learn to write lovely hand crafted words ^^ And it's not *that* expensive.

Another one that's always a winner is to do some kind of physical activity (gym, walk, jogging, sports, etc..). Takes effort to get started, but it really rewarding physically and mentally!

The most valuable thing to me is animals. Constantly wanting to spoil my pets, give them the best lives I possibly can, but also feeding the stray cats and such too. I'd really love to be able to do rescue work.. but my current living situation doesn't allow for it because of my roommates T T

While there are a lot of great suggestions I could not think of anything unique in here that doesn't already have a relation to what is already out there. As for games, recently a good sort of be alone or with friends game I have enjoyed lately is Vintage Story, it's basically a more adult focused Minecraft with a more expansive and intuitive crafting system. As for online stuff mecha break though people have been screeching about it's anti cheat software that is literally any other anti cheat in existence, has been a fun pvp/pve game that hits well in small doses but overall feels like a hero based armored core.

My only other hobby I have is hommade VR hardware and motorcycles but both of those are expensive.

You could volunteer with a local animal shelter or wildlife conservation office (may be some options to help online too) if you wanted to get out of the house. Otherwise, there are a lot of good video games depending on what genre you like. I am also very into woodworking and make pens, cutting boards, bowls, etc. Between that and my laser cutter/engraver, I am usually entertained.

I used to enjoy swimming — I think it's a great activity. You get to exercise and even make friends along the way. Have you ever tried joining a swimming club?

Another thing I used to do where I lived was buying food to feed animals. I loved feeding birds, geese, ducks, and capybaras. My city has a lot of lakes, and I always felt this strong urge to cool off my mind by "helping" animals.

Maybe getting more involved in your city's cultural scene could be nice too. In mine, there were usually plenty of fairs and artistic showcases — from traditional festivals to group crafts.

At the end of the day... it all depends on money. I'd honestly love to keep doing those things, but I stopped because of my country's crisis and my own financial situation. But who knows... maybe you'd enjoy trying one of these if you have the time and money.

I used to swim lots on a local Olympic pool but my body changed drastically and now I’m too shy to do it Unu

Well, I kinda get it. I don’t think just saying, “Stop being shy and grow a pair,” really helps. So, I just wish you luck with it. It took me a long time to get past that, and I hope you find your own way through it too.

What sorts of games do you enjoy? What genre etc... there are so many options out there. Could give some good recommendations if I knew what sorts you're into - also, anime? :P Those are good to binge and some really good ones out there (depending on what you like in them of course!)

Hope ya find something :3
