Me everytime I have to spell "queue"

Queue really is one of those words that feels like it's spelled incorrectly every time I write it.

I guess I've memorized the shape of it to feel strongly that queue is correct when seeing it. That does NOT stop from it seeming wrong before writing it! lol

The way English is typically taught in a post-phonics America certainly doesn't help. Words like queue are definitely in a middle difficulty common spelling word. I have a pretty good word count typing, but I am brought down heavily because I am a poor speller. I know far more words than words that I can spell.

'Queue' is the correct one for a lineup of things. The way I remember it is that the other one is spelled with a 'c' in English- Cue. As in "take your cue". 'Que', with one 'ue' is only spelled like that in Spanish. Even the shortening of barbecue as 'cue, which sounds the same, is spelled with a 'c'. Although I suppose saying the letter 'Q' by itself also sounds the same and is spelled with a 'q', but that's just the letter, it's not too qonfusing.
