Does SubscribeStar not accept new creators?

by
I've been waiting for more than a year since I applied to SubscribeStar, but they are still reviewing my account. I even sent them an email, but I haven’t received any reply or response. I have no idea what criteria they use to review accounts. Honestly, I've given up on joining the site, but seeing some people get past the review stage in just one or two weeks is simply baffling...

And as far as I know, there are many others like me who haven’t been approved. After getting banned from Patreon, many people applied for approval on SubscribeStar, but whether they have some special criteria or simply review applications irregularly is unclear. At the very least, if someone emails them about the approval issue, they should provide a response explaining why the application was rejected. However, they just ignore creators, whether they wait for a year or even two. Honestly, I’m not even sure if their support team actually exists.

Anyway, I've lost all hope for that site.

I also have waited well over a year and even tried sending monthly emails at one point, with absolutely zero response.
Yet I've seen other people (like Clara) apply after I did, and get in within a week too.
I've also lost all hope for it, and honestly, even if they approved me, I'm don't think I would even want to do any business with them anymore.

I feel the same way. Maybe nothing will be approved, but I won't be working on that platform even if it is approved.

What I did is send an email and include some links of my work (like a link to inkbunny, furaffinity, etc.) and proof it's me and all that. Not sure if that helps, but this is what they asked from me when I applied years ago and got accepted. Not sure what you wrote in your emails though.

Unfortunately, I have tried everything I can and everything on the internet, but it seems impossible. Because they are not responding at all....

Maybe they changed since; I believe they still accept new creators, one of my friends got approved a couple months ago (smaller accounts than mine), but I kept sending the same kind of emails with my links and detailing how I wanted to use the platform, they ignored all of my attempts, so I guess they just accept whoever they want.

I'm using fanbox instead and I let subscribers join my telegram group so I can share uncensored drawings there.
Someone told me Substar is not very good with costumer support either.

In same boat. I applied last year mid fall and was sending emails (and still do), with links to my other social media and what not but alas, no reply or anything.

Issue is that it is the only platform that is no hassle when it comes to uncensored stuff :T
I am on fanbox and the process there is literally 1 minute, but I gotta have everything censored... which for pics is oke, but it becomes a real pain point when it comes to video games / visual novels.

If you wait more than a week, you will unfortunately not get any response like me. For now, Fanbox is the best.

Unless you want to post uncensored content. And they can technically ban you at any time for posting artwork depicting minors.

If the information helps, in my case I applied, and about 2 or 3 days later they sent me an email telling me to check my page for information on how to activate my account.

When I entered the website, there was a yellow bar at the top of the page with instructions for an email that I should send to them with some information, and a few days later they activated my account.

During my first withdrawal process, due to some circumstances, it was necessary to exchange a series of messages to sort out some documentation, but their responses usually came in a matter of a few hours, and within a couple of days the issue was solved.

As of the time I am writing this comment, I have nothing to complain about, but if you like, you can send me a DM, and I will find instructions here for the things they asked me and how I should proceed.

Unfortunately, I sent them all the links with my profile information and even screenshots of my fanbox account. I sent it not once but more than 10 times and got no response. I even sent email by a friend who was already registered there. In conclusion, I was banned before I even started.

this confirms a loli/cub ban. as i thought. cencorship is rampant against cub artists. i feel like cub art and artists are being wiped from existence 99 percent of the time before they can even satrt making art. helll now ice is even detaining cub artists like bastion shadowpaw and his legal American partner:

I got into SubscribeStar quickly when I signed up for it, but I know other artists who have been ignored too. I think the problem may be related to nationality. I'm American, and I think that many people who get ignored, if not all, are from other countries. This is an uneducated guess, so I won't pretend that I have everything figured out.

Every country surely has different financial paperwork and laws for what can be posted online, right? I presume that SubscribeStar doesn't want to handle all the paperwork or isn't capable of doing it in many cases. Maybe they don't have legal experts hired who can take care of it. I don't know. Regardless, I think that they won't support users from some countries anymore, but they don't want to announce that they're removing support for those countries. If the real explanation is anything like that, I think it's a scummy decision.

But again, I'm not sure what the real explanation is. I just hope that they can change in the future. Fanbox seems to work well, but I can't stand censoring genitals like Japanese law requires.

A lot of those types of platforms are very hostile to loli/shota creators. The people who run payment processing companies are typically prudes and that "poisons downward" to the companies that rely on them so to say. It wouldn't surprise me if you're being ignored by SubscribeStar.

I've been applied since 2019, and i haven't got approved yet, been sending them email frequently asking for approval, and no response till i eventually give up and went to Pixiv fanbox instead.

I've been seeing alot of cub/loli artist also getting ignored by subscribestar got me wondering if they'll pull a patreon ;;;

For me when I applied 3 years ago I didnt link to my IB, or my loli/cub twitter, but to my normie furry twitter.
I know they say they want people to create what they want but without card companies telling them what they could do, but I was still worried which is why I didnt link to anything loli/cub related.

Not sure if thats the reason I was approved but its my only guess right now

i have no idea... when i applied about 3 years ago or so... took them about a week or so to approve, so it was pretty quick...

Also they seem to have a support team as any request i've made, they've responded within 1-2 business days. Far better support then i ever got with Patreon.

I got in maybe 2 months ago and it took maybe a week for them to review and accept my account.
Would it be possible for you to delete and retry? Could be that you've fallen through the cracks.

I heard nothing from them for a year after applying. I eventually made a second application with a slightly different name, and it was approved within a few weeks. Try what I did

I heard that their site checks for cookies from a certain site that rips their content and if they find it, they ghost you as a content creator @w@

Just a rumor...

Generally it is not possible for a website to check for cookies from a different domain. Due to the security risks associated with that, any competent browser will have strict strong protection against cross-domain access like that.
