I've never used AI.

I just found out that someone added a 'ai assisted' tag to my cumbreon post.

To be clear. I don't use AI stuff. And I will never use AI. Because I already know how to draw.

So, to the person who added the tag, please don't do that.

I don't like it.

Simple block that user and also that tag to be able to be added to your tags.
Those are available options, when you manage the tags from other people.

There's several AI Witch hunters out there trying to claim people are using AI gen if their art has JPG fragmentation, or if an AI Detector says so (those things are full of shit most of the time too). They've bullied a few artists off the site already.

If people want to use AI, let them.

I saw a video on how ChatGPT's image generation can't depict a completely full glass of wine, it always does one half full.
For the time being there are things artists can do that AI cannot.
Then there are artists who use AI, and their own skills to add, merge, and correct images.
And some people who otherwise wouldn't have anything to do with art.

The anti-AI "artists" are often elitists who think you can't talk about art unless you're at a certain skill level, and they always parrot the same untrue arguments about AI "stealing"
Just annoying.

Art has always been about the process of creation and expression, AI can't remove that experience from the artist.
Art has always been about the viewer imparting their own interpretations into a piece, AI can't remove a person's ability to do that either.
Art has become entirely too much about money, which is why some artists are so aggressive over it, they fear for their livelihood and fear they can't adapt.

I mean, yeah, but disabling people from adding tags would prevent them from adding actual tags you may have forgotten

But if people are wrongly putting that tag on you work, it's easier to just not allow the tag at all on your posts.

Yeah but I mean that you can't block one specific tag from being added. If you want to prevent them from adding a tag, you have to disable the entire tag suggestions at all, not only that one

Don't you think blocking is a bit extreme tho? They could be young or new and was exposed to the Ai version of your style first. I'd say blocking is only necessary if you KNOW they had ill intentions. It's okay to give people the benefit of the doubt~

I recently just had an AI accusation myself, on a piece I spent close to 20 hours on. It certainly stung, I’m not usually one who is fragile towards criticism. But calling it ai….it sucks. Im so sorry you had this happen!

Look on the bright side, the person thought you were so good that they didn't think it couldn't been done alone, that just shows how incredible you are.
