Sorry, apparently some people think my stuff is traced or ai-assisted. It's not. My line work is messy cause I use the For Effect Line pen with snapping and a lot of correction because of my hands shaking (health). I just never considered myself any good, people gave me tips and I applied them. I learnt new techniques from sweet people, and I applied them. I tried out different ways of drawing things, and for another tried to deviate from my current style cause I was worried someone would think my art was too cutesy for an art trade, so I tried drawing an adult...looking adult? As for extra fangs...I make mistakes? Whoops.
As for explosive growth in a short time? I've been doing digital art for a while already, most of what you saw this month was me getting back into it after a long while of...life. So, I was just shaking off the rust, like a bicycle. My grandmother was super strict with art progress, if you weren't improving fast- well, improve faster.
One guy didn't wanna rain on my parade but...well I guess I'm just easy to scare off. :P I'm a wimp lol. You referenced my art and styles which is sweet, but the ones you used were from last year, a good bit ago, and I only posted them last month. :3 Before I even figured out that I needed to change my Wintab settings for my tablet to work correctly. My work is definitely inspired by Marimo, I used to practice his style all the time way back, I'm glad it was noticeable. :3
I guess the closest thing I can get to any big deviations is because I use 3d model assets on clip paint studio posed for references, so sometimes it comes out different, cause I'll be honest I need a reference to work off of. :p I definitely cheat with sooo many assets clip paint has. "Milk" Brushes, hoof models, teeth models, eye models. I even reuse some of my stuff in my newer stuff and just clean it up. :3
I haven't really slept much this month cause I've been practicing non-stop (new years resolution was one drawing a day), I have plenty of time cause I'm stuck at home (health) so...all I can do is doodle? I guess I got kind of excited and just kept going because didn't wanna disappoint anyone. :3 A friend of mine suggested using vector lines to have better line work (again shaky hands) and I wasn't too sure cause I always thought vector lines were wonky to work with...but wow that really did do a major difference. That would have been fun to see yeah? :D.
I actually never thought much of AI art, it needs artists to work so it definitely wouldn't replace people. I guess that wasn't what I should have been worried about. :p
So yeah, intimidating. :3
I think I'll just leave you guys to it then. Anyone who's donating to my Ko-fi can stop, I'm sorry but I just ain't cut out for this pressure, it's...scary. ._.
Maybe I should have used AI. I actually would have been better off it seems lol.
