Commissions and such...

Are something I haven't figured out quite yet! It's one thing doing commissions for close friends, they just throw their money at my face and call me a nerd. It's another for other people on the internet, it seems like every site I could use for commissions really doesn't like NSFW things, and that's quite intimidating! PayPal, Ko-Fi, Gumroad, they all say no...I'm sure I'll figure it out, but advice and suggestions would be wonderful! :3

most artists I know still use paypal, but you need to keep the paypal invoices sanitized and scrubbed of any details, same with kofi! If your in the US taking directly through Cashapp is also a option. But hopefully you find a option that works for you :3

imnot to sure what ones would be good for you. paypals default so long as nobody types anything in as to what they are getting. im not to sure what else there is -w-

Yeah, I'm leaning towards making a PayPal for commissions and Ko-fi for donations- if anyone wants to do that, I doubt I could give any worthwhile bonuses, so it'd just be supporting me for now. :P

A friend of mine told me to quit worrying and just do it. xD

I'll get on it at some point, probably when I feel I have more consistent time to draw. I'd hate to have stuff like that set up only to post things just every now and then. :p

I'm working on getting stuff set up for things like that, but I won't lie a bit of that is procrastination cause commissions seem so intimidating. ^_^"

That and I don't even know what to charge for commissions yet. ._.

After you have set up your PayPal you also have to figure out your prices :P

Starting off low and raising the prices later the more customers you get is always a good choice. If you start off to high, not to many people will commission you, people need to get you to know first and see your art that a lot more people want it ^^ But it's still up to you how you wanna tackle this

It's rought to start but everyone starts there, some do cheap art, others do more freebies at the beginning until you have more customers. Also depending on what you wanna do with that, if that's just for fun, if that is a try to make a living or just a bit of some extra money ^^

Also then depending on your country and the amount you make, you have to be careful because of taxes and stuff if you make a decent amount then ^^
