Happy holidays! I specifically celebrate Yule (or the Winter Solstice) and Christmas. So blessed Yule and I hope you have a merry Christmas if you celebrate those as well. If not, I hope you enjoy whatever holidays you celebrate.
Honestly, this is a bit of a mixed bag for me. I'm in a more festive mood than usual and I'm happy for the holidays. But it's the first Christmas without my mom so I'm also a bit of a wreck, haha. ^_^;;;;; But I'm still gonna try to enjoy the holidays as best as possible while still honoring the mixed and tangled ball of emotions I have going on right now.
In other news, work is settling down a bit. I'm off orientation and flying solo now. Still learning as I go, but I'm surprisingly competent with work. I guess the 10 years of experience means something, lol. Now that I've finished all my training videos, I'm able to enjoy what downtime I get.
Speaking of which, I treated myself to an early gift. I got a nice tablet so I can work on art during work downtime without having to luge the giant laptop and drawing tablet there and back. I'm slowly getting use to Medibang. Not sure how easy it'll be to go between GIMP and Medibang, but I'll figure it out. I'm also giving Nomad Sculpt a try to see if I can figure out 3-D sculpting stuff. So far I'm having fun with it.
Please not that I probably won't worry too much about my mid-week upload because of the holiday. Though, honestly, that's more likely than the weekend upload next week, lol. I'll be traveling for the holidays so I'll see what I can do. If any of you out there are too, please be safe.
