You need a bank account and probably a photo ID. I dunno when you checked up on it last, but it's ez now. It's literally built into payment apps now, too, but those probably have an additional fee like paypal has.
I've heard some credit unions or banks step in to prevent you from spending your own money, so the worst case scenario would be you have to make a bank account at a different bank.

I think Patreon follows the same rules as Paypal these days. Basically you can get banned any day if you do nsfw. I also had ko-fi, but the only way I could get money out of it was through Paypal.

I don't understand... what does Paypal care about the thing in question? They only care about the transaction itself, as long as there are no scams, what do they care? I highly doubt they have any of this prohibited in their terms of use... what serious/professional company would even care about the object itself, much less the subject matter... the message? WTF?... And if they banned you just because of people's complaints... Didn't they investigate whether the complaints are true? Are they copying Youtube's algorithm?

what i would do in this situation is: if you liked paypal but your account got banned. create a new one. sure you would have to start from scratch, but you would have your preferred payment back. use the same email address, but a different password. this way its still accessible, but it goes to your new profile.

That's not going to work, as they'd just ban me again right away. That's what happens to others who got banned. Also can't link it to my bank account for the same reason, so I have no way to get the money out of there anyway. It's just completely useless at this point. Paypal is no longer an option. I'm gonna have to find another similar service.
