Yeah, there's a number of expansions out for it now. My brother funded the kickstarter and I know he got the base game and I think two expansions. It might've only been one. But I know they've come out with a few since then.

And yeah, it's very difficult to keep cardboard boxes and components even at a decent quality for so many years, unless you're literally never touching them.

Oh, it wasn't that.
I followed originally because your style was still forming and your stuff was different than most things I look at on here, plus it was novel to see more furry-on-human art. Over time though, your style's calcified in a direction that suggests you're done experimenting, and you don't really seem to have a desire to try new things like Foreshortening or Gesture or the like. The 4chan Circa 2002 antics as if they were clever and new just kind of clinched it; they're both kind of the indication of someone who's satisfied with where they are. Have fun with that I guess.

Do you know insanely difficult it is to get honest criticism from people who like you and don't want to hurt your feelings? It's why I value the opinions of "strangers on the internet" who hate/dislike me, because they are not afraid to express themselves unfiltered. I do not like ballwashing or people buttering up to me; and why I prefer to be a heel.

I am aware of those shortcomings in my art, and have been at least trying to experiment with them. Not very hard, but trying nonetheless. It hasn't really come through with pics I've posted publicly though, since I haven't drawn something involving them I'm happy with yet. I will admit, I have become complacent. Maybe it's just because I'm getting older and nearing the top of that metaphorical hill. However, I don't think I'll ever be satisfied with my art. I've never thought, and never will think, "Yup, I'm good with where my skill level is at". I know there's so many things I need to do better art-wise. Light, shading, dynamic poses, perspective, foreshortening, different expressive faces, and more.

... What?? You could have gotten those things easily just by nurturing relations with peers and genuinely asking. This weird fucked up kabuki theater is the worst way to get workable criticism, you'll just get a ton of useless chaff from dumb edgelords and maybe occasionally a little bit of useful insight. Meanwhile I have two servers filled to the brim with artists who like each other and help one another with their art without all of this nonsense.

Oh, I'm not saying that's why I did this; I'm just saying that's what I've found to be true in general. That sort of stuff works for you, but it doesn't work for me. People are different and different things work for then, and that's fine.
That being said, I do have a personal, private life and I am doing just fine.

So, why did I do this? It's simple, and it's the same reason I did the same thing 8 years ago: the celebrate a little and to entertain people with the style of humor that I enjoy. And anyone who doesn't like it or doesn't get it, are free to unwatch me. I'm out here to have fun, laugh at jerks, and not take the internet too seriously.

As another notorious evil chud, I have to agree. It doesn't make a lot of sense to piss off people online in an attempt to hear their "honest thoughts", and isn't an angle I've ever even considered. The furry audience, generally, isn't adept at giving constructive feedback, and neither are most artists. I think hearing feedback like Norithics' only works because Em's stagnation is so apparent, it's something pretty much anyone could notice and point out.

In my personal experience, any form of criticism I've received from people I've pissed off has been vague and non constructive. Typically, this is because most people who now hate me started off as fans of my work, and don't seem to have legitimate qualms with it, leaving them to make up vague shallow issues. Norithics' idea of artist servers isn't necessarily wrong, however spaces like that almost always end up being echo chambers in an attempt to not accidentally piss off more immature artists who can't handle criticism. What I've found that works best is personally networking one on one with artists I like, and occasionally asking them for advice, though of course this requires more effort than shitposting about Trump to rile up a mostly leftist fandom, and is less enjoyable.

The key is to have a separate channel for showing off art (enjoy what I made if you like) and another channel for help with art (how do I draw this, why does this look wrong, what am I missing, any tips for character/clothing design). I know artists get a rep for being a shallow hugbox collective, but once you set an option to go to for that and other people start using it, the sensitivity to critique starts melting in the population more generally. Can't express enough how well it works.

Like I said before, I didn't do this specifically for that reason. I try to entertain one way or another and if people get pissed off from it, then that just provides more entertainment for me. I've had people call me all sorts of things including pedophile, and I love leaning into it because I know it's not true. Someone even tried to start a rumor that I had been arrested for CP when I pulled an April Fool's stunt and "deleted" all my submissions. Instead of trying to defend myself, I forgot exactly how I responded anonymously, but I basically said something confirming it. That thread never got off the ground or went anywhere, but it would have been funny if it did.

But getting back on track, I probably phrased what I meant to say poorly. So let me try rephrasing it:
I trust the opinions of people who aren't afraid to say what they mean or offend me or hurt my feelings in the slightest. These are usually people who either don't know me, hat me, or dislike me. If you like someone, even if you try your hardest to be objective, there will always be something in the back of your mind that's holding you back the tiniest bit.

I always welcome any and all criticism from anyone at any time. And it does suck that furry artists have a reputation of loving their hugbox fanbase and lashing out and blocking anyone who would give even mild constructive criticism. Because it makes people not wanting to bother to say anything.

I'm also intelligent enough to discern between actual criticism and whining/bitching/insults, so don't worry about that.

You don't know what my thoughts were during that whole time or if I was actually suicidal. I never want to block anyone because I believe in free speech and want to foster discussions, jokes, comments, shouting matches in my comments; but trying to actually harm someone is something else. I rarely comment on these sorts of things but I'll be direct.

I really didn't enjoy the jokes. Either as a way to just make fun of the situation or the general attitude of how you've been over the last week or so to people's reactions to them and the elections. I kinda wished you'd have made an entirely different account for this sort of thing because I didn't want to see it.

It's a free country so you can be and do however you want but I lost a lot of the enjoyment I got from your art and from you personally from all this. But that's the point of art I guess, to get a reaction.

I don't like brining up or going into politics because that's not why I'm here on this website or most others. I write to entertain but obviously not in the same way you have for a while now.
