Return from Hiatus, as well as a response to previous Journal

Hey guys! Man 2024 is one hell of a year for me, and I know it's been a tiny bit dramatic in terms of my substar, and the journals, and I wanna clear up some misconception thats been going around.

First off, I wanna personally thank the ridiculous amount of people who stopped by the last journal and showed support, I wish I could have responded to every one of you. Your responses are so powerful and showed me meaning and inspiration to continue doing this, so from the bottom of my little ottie heart, thanks ❤️❤️

So.. in terms of the previous journal,

I am NOT quitting art, at all. I'm incapable of quitting art so rest assured I will be here almost indefinitely. What I was trying to convey was the priority of art was going down, NOT because I was stressed or felt burnt out, but instead it was work related. I have a job that frequently keeps me away from home and it makes it difficult to have time to draw or post.

That being said, as of now, it seems like I'll be chillin until 2025 so I have plenty of art time ahead of me.

What happened to the substar? Will there still be benefits for people or is it just a tipjar now?

Good question! So if anyone noticed, about a month ago I got rid of the whole new system (thanks to my over-destructive self) and reduced the substar to only 2 tiers. Now that I'm back, here's what's gonna change,

I will be re-adding the free tier, nothing beneficial will come for it minus the fact for the notifs/emails for when I post.

The two tiers (6$, 12$) are staying, and the only new benefit is that you will get art as soon as I post it in a much higher res than IB. This implies that I draw more than I post of course.

A new tier will be arriving but will be unavailable to the public for now. The comic reader 8$ tier! This tier will unlock as soon as I start posting the Fatherly Desires Comic starring almost every character in my world. It's the mainstay comic for the comaverse and I hope you guys will love it. The tier will grant instant access to every page, including WIP's, so look forward to that.

The idea of my substar being a tip-jar is mainly because in the end, I will be posting more or less everything publicly eventually albeit a lower resolution, so rest assured I'm not keeping art from y'all.

Thanks for all the support and I promise to stop being a drama ottie in the future, 2024 was a hell of a year for me and its not done yet!
