Milton Aftermath

Well, 17 hours without power and we finally got it back yesterday, but there still lots of folks without it, I can only hope they get it back soon and many of our friends are safe!, it feels absolutely crappy outside still.

17 hrs we were out for days on the last one.
lost everythign in the fridge.

my last major hurricane outage was back during Hurricane Charlie, back in 04, power was out for about 2 and a half weeks. poor city got wrecked.

I lived in St. Pete during Charlie. We were expecting to die, then it cut in at the last second and hit Punta Gorda instead. Wound up barely even raining on us. The next month, Frances got us though. Lost power for 12 days in the middle of summer. It was almost unbearable with the heat and post-storm humidity.

i forgot about francis, ya that was a bad one, we lost power again for about that long as well. the heat that year was crazy
