The cat is doing good. Thank you to those who donated as it helped out a ton! The wound was infected; a bite, possibly from another cat. I was given medicine to administer to him, and now that it's finished, he seems to be in good spirits. The wound has scabbed up and is slowly healing, so I am very grateful to everyone that helped since he is such a sweet cat and deserves all the love he can get, so it's upsetting when something like this happens. Thank you all so much! ^.=.^
He does seem to be getting a lot better after a couple of weeks. I do fear something could happen such as the scab being opened up once more, but I have to keep the wound unwrapped according to the vet. So I'm still watching him to see how he's doing, if he's lethargic, or anything changes. He's still the same ol snuggle cat afraid of people who has a loud purr and loves to be pet and affectionate.
