I can't believe that Unusual Vacation is getting finished :D
There were many personal projects I started over the years (not just in art), but the initial enthusiasm often worn off quite quickly. Even though I always wanted to give this story some kind of proper ending, but the scope just got bigger and bigger over time, compared to where I started. So I often had the feeling this will be just another abandoned stuff, even in the near past.
But somehow we are still getting there, and this turned out to be something I'm really happy with, even with all it's rough language and art style.
But this journal isn't about don't give up your personal projects or interests if you find some better activity, but instead don't be afraid to start something new even if you are doubt to finish it. :)
Probably someone wiser said this before me, with much better English, so get out of here :D
