Surface Pro + posting sketches??

I got a surface pro!!! Long story short it took longer than it was supposed to arrive and I was stubbornly not drawing the whole time because I was too excited to receive it so once I finally got it I was definitely rusty / out of the flow of drawing.... But I got it!! And I'm extremely loving having it + Clip Studio. I couldn't use the iPad I was using anymore and I wasn't satisfied with Procreate anyways so, I had to get something. But yay!!! As always I have a long way to go honing my art skills, but this is already making a big difference!!

Other than that... I'm wondering about the right way to post sketches?? Inkbunny being a gallery website makes me feel compelled to post only finished pieces, but I think it'd be nice to be able to share sketches too for that dopamine + just getting more of my ideas out there. I guess I could / should use the scraps function, but I'm kind of missing that social media type function where you can just really post things with low expectations / low barrier of entry.

Does anyone have any insight on what social media sites are decent for cub? Is it still just like, everyone's on Twitter / X? I feel like my impression is that every big cub artist just gets ultimately kicked off it anyways. I haven't used any social media in 3 years so I'm pretty out of the loop. I know Baraag and Bluesky exist, I'm not sure if anyone actually uses any twitter alternatives like that though. I guess things like Telegram channels / discord channels are also options just for posting things, but also have no knowledge of how ppl feel about that sort of thing

Mmmh. You could post as Scrap? Tho they would definitely have way less views.

PS: as for cub friendly sites? Maybe baarag?

A lot of times, artist will post sketches as scraps, but I feel like you should just post sketches as they are, I really enjoy seeing both finished pieces and sketches personally c:

As for cub friendly sites, Baraag is probably the most accessible.

Thank you for the sketch-posting encouragement! I definitely would post More things if I posted sketches, so I'm sure it's worth it, especially cos I similarly enjoy seeing other peoples sketches, so if people like my work then they'd probably like my sketches too ^^

You could also post the sketch and then later update it with the finished work as well - or both at once if you prefer - as a multi-page submission.

Smart!! Ty for the suggestion!! I've even just seen people post sketches then later make totally new posts with finished versions lol. Truly one can just do whatever works lol

I think you can post sketches directly on Inkbunny, as many artists do, and you can use the Pools feature to organize your art

I think Baraag has very few users, but it's a cub-friendly site, and I've never heard of a cub artist having trouble with Baraag, at least so far
In addition, people are free to browse adult content on Baraag without having to sign up for an account, so there are a lot of benefits to using Baraag for you

I've heard of a lot of people being penalized by Discord for posting shota, loli, and cub content, and I've never heard of that happening on Telegram in comparison
So if you're looking to build a community that's centered around you, Telegram might be a better choice

Ohh pools is smart, I was only thinking about organizing via scraps vs main gallery so I totally forgot about pools. If anything I'll prolly do that! Cos scraps feels a little too hidden away for my liking

Thanks for your insight on Baraag / discord / TG! I'll definitely keep your advice in mind and weigh my options moving forward. If I'm satisfied with pools organizing I might not end up needing an alternate platform, but I could see use for TG or Baraag depending on how I want things to evolve!
