I got a surface pro!!! Long story short it took longer than it was supposed to arrive and I was stubbornly not drawing the whole time because I was too excited to receive it so once I finally got it I was definitely rusty / out of the flow of drawing.... But I got it!! And I'm extremely loving having it + Clip Studio. I couldn't use the iPad I was using anymore and I wasn't satisfied with Procreate anyways so, I had to get something. But yay!!! As always I have a long way to go honing my art skills, but this is already making a big difference!!
Other than that... I'm wondering about the right way to post sketches?? Inkbunny being a gallery website makes me feel compelled to post only finished pieces, but I think it'd be nice to be able to share sketches too for that dopamine + just getting more of my ideas out there. I guess I could / should use the scraps function, but I'm kind of missing that social media type function where you can just really post things with low expectations / low barrier of entry.
Does anyone have any insight on what social media sites are decent for cub? Is it still just like, everyone's on Twitter / X? I feel like my impression is that every big cub artist just gets ultimately kicked off it anyways. I haven't used any social media in 3 years so I'm pretty out of the loop. I know Baraag and Bluesky exist, I'm not sure if anyone actually uses any twitter alternatives like that though. I guess things like Telegram channels / discord channels are also options just for posting things, but also have no knowledge of how ppl feel about that sort of thing
