Really? Only thing I recall hearing is dropbox deleting copyrighted content or cp via hash identification. Do you remember any specific cases of DB getting rid of porn?

Not sure what the rules is there, but a lot of times people provide a Dropbox link (and not just loli/shota) the files don't exist.

Dropbox is not an "upload and forget" site. At least by default, it mirrors a folder on your system. So if you found something someone posted half a year ago, it's not unlikely they deleted it to make room for something else.

um , well theres DA they still have some shota ,, i came across some on there and was very suprised that they would alow it at all but it was 3D and AI and some other drawings of it and yes loli as well , im more in to the fur stuff but thos pics were cute and some well um , yup and yeah theres ATF, baraang, i think to get to even lok at there stuff you need an account :/ but yeah ..

DA is just a huge site (AI rather made it bigger in terms of image number), so the only things deleted will be what people report. Staff doesn't stumble randomly across them.

Aethy is a twitter clone but more based, Baraag works too. ATF has a lot of the kind of people that were purged from IB about a year ago so it's hard to recommend it, but the interface and functionality is the closest to e6.

Thanks for the heads up on ATF. I did get some kinda weird vibes a while ago when I checked out their forum and stuff but I didn't dig any deeper at the time.
Also Aethy looks interesting for sure...

About ATF can confirm that multiple artists have had their art banned from the site for doing very illegal shit, they will straight up purge artists tags who've done bad shit I know this because I've seen them post about this situation multiple times when they find evidence of actual criminal behavior so yes ATF is full of creeps but they're also seem really good at policing said creeps who actually cross that line and seem to be getting better and better at it so ATF is pretty decent in my book.

I'm hoping the admins on e6 see the backlash they're getting and will reverse course. Honestly they claim to be afraid of some law people are trying to pass (which has been attempted before and turned down pretty unanimously by the USC) but I don't know if that excuse holds water.

I was in the thread for a while at the beginning and from what I see its... complicated. Its less that they're afraid and more that partners they depend on (server hosts and the like) are afraid and e6 is afraid of what will happen without their support. Imo they shouldnt be so worried. I feel that they could probably get enough support to weather any storm that they come across... but the problem is that they have to be willing to actually fight that fight and from what I've seen of the mods, they really arent fighters in that respect.

They've been literally sitting on their asses all this time without a plan B and think ''Hmm you know we should have a plan B to move servers and stuff if shit goes down later on'' but no they did absolutely nothing even when arizona was trying to shut them down so this is honestly pathetic at this point

Honestly yeah at the very least after the Arizona thing they should have started looking for a plan b if they didnt have one already (which they also should have). I just dont think the passion/drive is there. If it is, I sure as hell haven't seen it.

Yeah thats the other thing. Apparently even with all the false positives, the initial purge wave only accounted for roughly one percent of their total content. For them to stand up and fight for this, it'd have to be a matter of principal which... yeah nah. lol

My biggest concern is that these thing always tend to snowball because the ones that pushed the inital idea will just push it further same way as how you can get banned on patreon for having nude girls with cat ears as "it counts as bestiality".

They will see this move happening and then just say that you didnt just remove all the "illegal content" and pressure you more.

They just need to have that one person on staff that'll get off their butt and look to the community for support. If they do that then e6 will thrive. But doing what they're doing now has people comparing them to furaffinity..which I'm sure some older admins/mods are probably cringing remembering that debacle. If they're not careful, a new archive site might pop up and replace them

exhentai is likely to best long term for images. Baraag is nice but has limited search functionality. gelbooru or furrybooru could be ok as well. Files on catbox or dropbox will be taken down over time.

It's very unfortunate that an archive-based website has to pull this without a just cause and so abruptly. It hurts seeing an archiving website have to pull this.

Imagine if exhentai did the same thing, or if it went was shut down tomorrow. That would be the equivalent to the Library of Alexander being burned down.

I dont really know of many sites, the rule34's are fiddly so they may let you upload the content and get you banned 2 weeks from them because someone decided to be a dick.
Gelbooru im not sure if they are ok with furries.
Luscious.net is an AD nightmare.
ATF, baraag are maybe the best solutions.
